2nd half Spurs battered them and their defense looked all over the place at times but threw bodies at every shot.

That said, they battle hard as a team and give few real chances away. Bit like us I suppose and Moyes, like Mon, is a class act.

Next week really will be a battle between 2 well organised, hard working in form teams. We will have 5000 fans down there shouting for us and a another 50,000 in pubs and clubs back up here. I'll be a pub dweller next week.

Very hard to call it either way. Hoping we can break another voodoo club and win, or at least get them back up to the SOL for replay (where Sess would be able to play as well).

As much as playing Everton pisses me off (hoodoo club and we never have luck with them) I do like Moyes and how the team are very good defensively. They are one team I always like to see doing well, and would much rather they were the top 'Pool team and their bindipper brothers floundered in the relegation zone.

Always liked Everton, one of mine was born during 95 cup win, so missed the 2nd half...

I'd take a draw, and bring it back to the SOL..........................what a great atmosphere you lads should create for that.....

Very tough game. It's great that their derby is 3 days before! That could just swing it for us. Both teams sit on 37 points. We should have beaten them on boxing day had it not been for Howard Webb.

    I hope Bendtner is fit.

I'll be one of the 5,800 fans who will be down there in the away end, but I dare bet that we will have a lot more fans who will have acquired tickets in other parts of the ground.
    Here's hoping for a Mersey beat double...<ok>

Always a cracking away day at Goodison, very hospitable bunch of lads, although the view is appaling.

Smashing club, great gaffer, good fans.

I think we can nick a result, although it will be tough, it's tough for ANYONE at Everton

Fellaini is one of my favourite players in the league, I think he is superb, but I don't see much quality up front from them.

I doubt the derby will wear us out.

We have Jelavic and Straqualursi, one will start on Tuesday the other on Saturday
Hibbert and Neville will alternate at Right back
Jagielka, Heitinga and Distin can all do a really good job at CB
Baines hasn't missed minute of premier league football since November 2009 so he's like a machine
Pienaar will probably play Tuesday leaving Drenthe fit to play Saturday as Pienaar will be ineligible.
Fellaini hopefully won't get sent off in the derby! But he doesn't miss many games either.
Rodwell (coming back from injury) and Osman will be able to play the other CM role.
Coleman and Osman can also operate on the other wing.

So I think we have enough depth to sort ourselves out.

We have the 3rd(?) best defence in the league and were brilliant yesterday. In the second half spurs only had two real chances(Defoe and Saha)

Fancy a trip to Wembley but we have to settle a less important match on Tuesday first of all.

Fancy you'll get a point Tuesday, smashing result for us, in terms of league placings.

How's Jelavic been? Yesterday was the first I saw of him, he looked decent enough.

Proper striker, movement left Ledley King for dead and a class finish yesterday though that was only his 3rd appearance (injuries). Hope he plays in the Sunderland game because I think Straqualursi would cause Carragher on tuesday all sorts of problems. Based on form we should get 3 points on Tuesday, but There'll probably be yet another poor refereeing decision *sigh*

Could be that Liverpool haven't got the fight for the league now, Europa already, and they have as much chance of getting 4th as I have of pulling Mila Kunis.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if you won, but I reckon a 1-1 is most likely.

I think our best bet is getting McLean at you down the left, but i'll be delighted with a draw, back to the SOL, and Sessegnon back fit.

I remain stunned that nobody has bought Everton, you think it's maybe the issues with getting a stadium built that are stopping them?

I agree the Everton defence is an excellent unit. Was impressed with them at the SOL but you would never have scored had it not been for Webb.

It's going to be a tough game for both sides. A tight affair I think. First goal will be everything.
