Itâs The CanariesSoccer Match Center for the ballgame featuring: Latics @ Canaries Live from The DeliaDomeâ¢. Last gameday saw Canaries defeated by the only UK-Based NFL® Franchise, Stoke Potters, which ended One versus Nothing. Potters used their de-fense blitz plays and hard-hitting-tackles to prevent Canaries from getting in to the ballgame. Coach Lambert opted to counter Potters by attempting to out-NFL them, a gameplan which did not produce the desired results. Coach Lambert: âI don't think their principles have changed. I think (manager) Roberto (Martinez) is great, he is a football person, so I don't think they will move from their beliefs. It is a hard game.." Franchise fans have been calling for the return of midfield-linesman D. Fox to the Canaries starting XI, a call which Coach Lambert would do well to heed in order to utilize the pass-play potential of his outfit. After three back-to-back defeats, expect Canariesâ squad rotation system to come full circle and perhaps even the return of out-of-favour score-attempt-converter S. Morison. please log in to view this image Latics currently reside P20 in the EPL Divisional Standings, right at the bottom of the rejection zone following a disappointing series so far; however there is still time for them to escape being rejected to the NPC. Coach Martinez will be sure to come out fighting in a matchup which his franchise has a realistic chance to win. Coach Martinez: âWe have a good group here and they're working harder than ever to get themselves on the road to recovery for the Norwich game, which is how it should beâ This could be a real entertaining matchup, with both Franchises working hard for different reasons. A victory for Canaries would take the within 2 points of the precious 40-point-safety-buffer; a victory for Latics would lift them out of the rejection zone, and for what itâs worth, I think this is going to be a great ballgame! This sure is going to be a great Soccer matchup, so fill up your Coca-Cola⢠tankards, get your hot-dog's and grab a seat for this smash-and-grab matchup, brought to you exclusively on Not606! Well done PC, another great thread Maestro and I will keep a good watch to make sure there's no trouble from those naughty Lactics!
Assuming we beat Wigan and West Brom don't win at Old Trafford, we'd be 8th tomorrow night, 1 point behind Liverpool
come on city, let's do this tomorrow win and we jump five places in the league No negativity either....
yep big chance to re-establish ourselves into 8th. ** warning shocking cliche ahead ** Not taking Wigan for granted though.
As always, a huge HUGE game for us. The opportunity is there take it in both hands and ****ING THROTTLE IT LADS!
I agree about not taking Wigan for granted. A 5 point gap has opened up between them and 5th bottom team (Blackburn) and are beginning to run out of games. Am expecting a win, but I think it will be a hard fought victory.
They have nothing to lose, they have to go for the win, so it would be great if we could score the first goal to make them go for it and give the game more space. However, they are not diabolical like that tit Savage said on FF yesterday
I wouldnt say Wigan have nothing to lose. Believe it or not there fans proberbly see this game as a chance of getting three points off a newly promoted side who have lost there last three. I hope we dont underestimate Wigan today and go to gun ho. Id like to see some nice patient build up and back to that passing flowing football that has been missing, certainly in the Stoke game. Hopefully Fox will start and we will run the midfield and get the victory today, but dont expect a walk in the park!! 2-1 city
Of course teams in the bottom are starting to see these games as nothing to lose games, meaning that they have to go all out for the win. By the way "probably"
All week I have seen both City fans and most notably 1p5wich fans saying we have lost three in a row. We have lost two league games in a row against the champions Man Utd and a tough game at Stoke. Liverpool and Spurs lost their third league game in a row yesterday, and they are two of the biggest teams in the league. I really don't believe we are on a bad run and I fully expect us to go all out for the win today. As long as the players get support all the way through the game, even if we don't get an early goal, and as long as there are no grumbles, boo's or whingeing, I think we will end up with the three points.
Hope we see Holty's little dance today! If he scores, his 'girls' have shown him a dance for him to do!
The sun is shining today, lovely spring morning in Norwich...it definately feels to me like there is a big win brewing up! I'm very hopeful of a great result today.
Daaammnnnm, I'm pumped for this. Not taking a win for granted but would love to be in 8th place tomorrow!
This could be an absolutely massive 3pts today. Win and the gap to the bottom 3 will be 16 points. IMO we will be safe. While a defeat would not exactly start alarm bells ringing, it will see us get sucked towards the relegation scramble a little. It would take a horrendous run in for us to be seriously in peril, but as we have seen in previous seasons, that kind of run of results is very possible. It may not be a 'must win', but imo it is as close to one as we have seen this season!
Not so much as a must win, more like a must not loose ! Point for us today is worth more to us than them?
