Watching Minder, the cars in his lot reminded me of a few of the old bangers I've owned. So, what was your first, here's mine (not actual model nor was it brand new when I got it!): Make: Ford Car: Escort Model : Mark II Year: 1976-1977 (R Reg) Colour: Beige Nearest Pic: please log in to view this image Mike, how do you get rid of the cun ting thumbnail once you've accidently picked the default "reference locally"? Get rid of that option please.
Have my test in just under 7 weeks, hoping to be only the second in my family to pass 1st time, been offered a Fiat Punto for £500 but will see what happens
Hmmm, I appear to be a fair bit older than everyone else on here. 2.2L is way too much for a youngster, I think anyone under 30 should be restricted to 1L.
What do you drive NOW stop me , I traded down from an 2007 M5 to a 2000 170bhp 520i ... sold my range rover too <damnspasticrecession>
1963 Ford Consul Capri, was in black, had a whopping 1500cc please log in to view this image Not a bad motor for it's age, i've always liked the older cars to be honest, they have more character.
I still have my first motor. It is a 99 Fiesta. She is green. She is shiny and she is lovely and she has appeared in a movie.....from quite far off if you squint. I have bought new cars, but they are ****e in comparison and I only use the other one I have now if I have to take anyone anywhere. please log in to view this image mine has nicer alloys, but trust me, this is the best car ever made.
****in' hell Dev, is that what i think it is??, it's a bloody Datsun Sunny or Cherry. I must admit, it's in bloody good condition, it's obviously never been anywhere in the world where moisture might lurk, otherwise it would have looked like this. please log in to view this image
I still have mine, its a Ford Fiesta Zetec please log in to view this image although mine is a 08 plate.
I got a '95 1.1 litre Fiat Punto for 500 quid about a year ago. The engine was ****, and it had to have a new exhaust, fuel pump (petrol was leaking into the car under the back seat ), new tyres and brakes, and a new water pump and thermostat. Despite all of this, I loved my little Punto. However, just over a week ago I crashed it into a ****ing huge Skoda, not a mark on the Skoda, but my Punto's dead. <rippunto>
