But deep down you all know he is right. You need to stop polishing Kenny's halo and realise this time round he is doing a $hite job. He has squandered millions on average players(20m for Henderson, cheers Kenny)! Hodgson would have spent that amount of money alot more wisely in my opinion had he had the same backing!
When you get your facts right then just maybe your opinion will be worth listening to. Henderson cost £16m which could rise to £20m. Now, if it does rise to that level then he will have been a very good and very cheap buy. So cheers Sunderland
Excuses for what to who? We are ahead of you in the league,we've won the first trophy of the season,we've qualified for europe and we're still in the FA Cup. Cant really see why you'd be worried lad. But thanks for your concern.
Yes i am so jelous we havent got a has been manager to throw money on average players. Henderson wouldnt even get in our team this season, and with the 16m we got off you lot we bought Gardner for 5m, who is twice the player Hendo is. Its not about how much money you have, its how you spend it!
Only 2 points ahead of us, we are also in the FA Cup, and well done on your penalty shoot out win against Cardiff
We also beat Exeter away, Brighton away, Stoke away, Chelsea away and are one of two teams that have beaten City the Etihad this season.
We've also beat City. Im not gona get in a debate with you who is the better team the season, my point is Kenny is doing a piss poor job for you, but none of you will hear a bad word said about him!
I have now. I didnt come on this board to read through all of the threads, but ended up getting into a debate on this one. You must be the only Liverpool fan that see's that Kenny just isnt doing it for you anymore!
Well then God help you. If O'Neil remains true to form then he'll leave you in the same **** state that he left Villa in. BTW Gardner isn't worth 5m.
Remember when all we had was Ron Yates as the club scout, and we use to buy these stunning players. Yet now we have scouts roaming all 4 corners of the earth, and the end result is often hit and miss. I miss the good old days..
You have to keep throwing cash at a club to be successful You can never stop No money, no trophies I don't write the rules, I just follow them
Thats funny he got MOTM yesterday and is in the Premier team of the month: Team of the Month Hart (Man City) Sagna (Arsenal) Kolarov (Man City) Lescott (Man City) Caldwell (Wigan) Dyer (Swansea) McClean (Sunderland) Gardner (Sunderland) Van Persie (Arsenal) Odemwingie (West Brom) You obviously know nowt about Football!
Well the way I saw it you got £50m for Torres and spent £35 on Caroline and £15 on Suarez. IMHO the Suarez money was worth it, although his baggage with Wenger having ago at him also, may mean he will move on. Caroline is an old fashioned footballer he may suit Stoke, but Pool will always play passing football, it's your DNA a big lumbering bloke with a lousy first touch is never going to fit in. Downing has had a spell with us years ago and does pop up with goals but he has played poorly for you. Hendo will in time be stood buy. Adams is a bit funny I cannot figure why he was not booked on Sat, perhaps he is clever? Somebody in this thread has said you need a midfielder and a striker. I think that is true, I see Suarez as like our Sess and you need a Lacey forward just ahead of him, IMHO I think Sess and Campbell work well together. So KD has made mistakes, all managers do, sell a couple of the duds on, get Gerrard fit and bring in. Couple of players you will be ok, but it will take years to get back into the top four.
