Leading up to the Boro game tomorrow where we'll face a wall of envy/hate from the local Smoggies, I ask the question: which club has the most small-time hatred for Leeds? There's got to be a few contenders.

Good indicators: usually from Yorkshire or nearby, lots of Leeds fans in their vicinity, extreme paranoia whenever we come to town, Leeds fans tend to go in home ends, historically overshadowed by our success, tend to boo Leeds songs when sung at stadium.

Bonus points for using asterisks or numbers when writing L**ds/L666ds, or even concocting their own special little nicknames for us.

I'll reserve my judgement and see what you lot think. <ok>

Hmm hard one that, on a personal level HTFC for me, and after what they did to BBs statue I can say I hate the set of bastards with a passion, of course the yorkshire clubs hate us, Scumchester hate us, Chelsea hate us, Millwall well its a love hate thing lol, I think Hull hate us because they know they can never achieve the success we have had.
So over all I would say its between Hull and Boro, maybe Bradford, they hated us after the chip van incident.

We don't hate you, most of us are indifferent toward you and if you didn't keep popping up on our board we'd probably forget all about you. The rest of us find you cute and smile at the little threads you have on here in our honour. <ok>

In a 2003 fan survey your fans said you thought we were your main rivals, needless to say you didn't make it into our selection.

Perhaps. It depends on where they do the survey and what they ask. In an after match pub, you barely get a mention when we're watching the results. It tends to be clubs around us whose results get looked for. <ok>

But rivals doesn't necessarily mean hatred, which is what the OP asked about.

That's not hatred though, that's ridicule.

But you come nowhere near to being our rivals in the traditional hatred sense, on our side anyway, and in 2003 we certainly weren't competing for the same things, so what made the majority of your fans who were surveyed say we were your main rivals?

The majority of our fans weren't surveyed. As I said it depends where the survey was done. Of my generation Sheffield come much, much higher than Leeds, although I doubt they're that interested in us. <ok>

I can honestly say TWS (there goes ellen's bladder) rarely enter football conversations in the circles I mix in.

To be fair you did get a mention today. We were wondering if you were up to the task against boro as we'll be wanting you to win to help our league position. Some hatred that eh?

Nah, the mauled chant's aimed at the very people that cringe at that short you tube clip. The more you go on, the more it shows it works. Like the tigers rah rah rah, chant it's laughing at posturing fools.

Now the twirly scarf, poor Sunderland imitation you do, Each time it's been tried at the KC, even TWS realised how daft they looked and sheepishly stopped. ;)

A serious chant? You seem to be more deluded than most. Little wonder the mauled chant works so well on you. What a shame you haven't witnessed it live.<ok>

Politics is the art of looking for trouble,
finding it, misdiagnosing it and then misapplying the wrong remedies.
So maybe your in the wrong job.
