I like everyone will be gutted if we're relegated, but unlike some of the plastic fans on here I will continue to support the R's whether we're in the Premier league or League 3. I guess some fans aren't old enough to appreciate what being a football supporter is all about. If we are to be relegated it will be the fourth time I've seen Rangers go down. And guess what, I'm still ****ing here!!!!! So run along you plastic fans who believe it's right to boo the team in their time of need, I hear some of your fellow morons need your help at Euston because Mackie's about to kill them. We don't need twaty supporters who verbally knock the team. They need us now more than ever! But if the worst does happen, then it will be a joy to see us promoted all over again and maybe this time we can enjoy it properly and get a victory parade. But this is what football and being a supporter is all about, the highs and the lows, the good and the bad. But we will be back and we will continue to grow stronger, the good times will come again! I'm Rangers till I die!
Rangers Til I Die - Whatever division we are in, whoever is in charge, whoever runs the club, whoever is playing. I simply couldnt imagine life without QPR. Win, Lose, or Draw. Simple as.
Great post,I actually prefer the Championship. At least every team has a chance of winning the division come the start of the season.
Still believe it won't happen, but we've been relegated 4 times since I started supporting this club and I and the club are still here.
Like yourself, after more than 40 years of highs and lots more lows why would I want anything else? This is what it's like being QPR!...
All this whining about being doomed to go down again is bloody embarrassing - we can still stay in the PL if there is a theoretical chance of doing so. QPR forever....
Is it only 4 mate? It feels like a lot more. Whatever happens, we will be better placed than we were before Warnock was appointed.
Tell you what I'm mixing up some of Jimmy Jones special CoolAid, want to help me distribute it Swords?
That is not happening mate. There is more chance of Northolt coming back!!!!! Regardless of TF (who I don't believe would walk), can anyone see Amit walking away?
This is part of the Premiership learning experience for TF and the Mittals. I don't think that "cut and run" is part of the Mittal's modus operandi. They set about making successful, what is unsuccessful. Incidentally, I've been reading tonight that a small group of intoxicated R's fans have been trying to pick a fight with MH and squad members on a railway station. Just what do these muppets think they'll achieve by threatening our team? We still have a small chance of staying up until the fat lady sings. I saw no lack of effort from the team today - but technically, we're not at the races at the moment. We have new players. It may, just may, come good in the next two or three games and we'll surprise someone. The team must have our continued support - getting on players backs at this crucial stage is utterly counter-productive...
No need mate, I've got my cyanide tablet all ready and waiting! I really hope you're right Roller. Now I'm no businessman but I'm guessing Big Tony and Bhatia will have lost a packet this season and will have to do some serious re-structuring next season as squad-wise we couldn't be in a worse position for relegation. Tony took a huge gamble and lost. I hope he has the stomach for the coming fight.
Being relegated won't stop us from being Rrrrrs fans. Being an Rrrrrs fan won't stop us from being relegated, which is more of my concern at the moment. Completely gutted.
That's dangerous talk Dens Hoops. I thought I was the only footie fan alive in the realm who still remembered the Third Division South!
Reading the original post and some of the answers on here have REALLY given me fresh hope. We've come a bloody long way since the days of 'bucket collections' to save the club and as has been said by many of you here, we were there then and we will be here now. It's easy following a club thats succesfull through the bad times but a lot harder following a club through the bad.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Give me away days at Oakwell, Gresty Road etc over this modern sterilised 'EPL' bollocks. Going to Anfield and the like has been a pleasant change but it doesn't seem real.
