Thought fox had a top game, constantly closing down up the pitch and running down the wings. Spiderman had a good game marshalled everything. Fonte very solid along with Hoover. Lallana outstanding game had the beating of their whole team. Guly was guly and sharp looked a lot better today as well. My MOTM was tad Lee ran his heart out, put his body on the line and a great run for the second. We were slow to start today and Barnsley decent but as the game went on we showed our superiority. UTS

Davis - 7 - Good passing Richardson - 5.5 - Not his best game Fonte - 6 - OK he looks shaky at times but gets the job done well enough and passes the ball well Hooiveld - 6 average, solid defensively but it doesn't make sense that he boots it long a lot when players are on for the pass yet tries to force passes along the ground at other times to players under pressure. Fox - 9 - Excellent today, tackled and pressed endlessly. I don't think you can play any better defensively at LB than he did today. Guly - 7 - Passed the ball very well, always wanted to play it on the ground and make some good runs that were ignored for some reason. Could have worked a little harder defensively but probably tired from putting in a big defensive shift Tuesday. Hammond - 7 - Worked very hard Schneiderlin - 5.5 - I thought he gave the ball away far too much today Lallana - 9 - Very good game for Lallana, clinical Lambert - 8 - Worked very hard, played the target man role brilliantly. Got an assist for the 1st and won the flick on to set Lee on his way for the 2nd. As usual people aren't appreciating this side of him. Find it remarkable people marking Lambert lower than Morgan who gave the ball away so much first half I lost count whereas Rickie was involved in both goals Lee - 7.5 - Poor first half, heavy touches but did very well to set up Lallana. All the subs impressed me and did well.

Today he constantly threw away possession, even did it a few times with no pressure at all. He was the reason we started off so badly for first 30m imo. Out of character

Now your just making things up. I'm saying he is not MoM every week or even plays well every week but you wouldn't be able to tell that from the ratings here most times. If a player doesn't play that well you should be able to give him a lower rating. Even those with Morgan avatars.
He never said that. What you so upset about? What he said is true. Many people slag Guly off and praises Morgan no matter what. Anyone rating Lambert low today doesn't understand the art of creating goals and helping the team with hold up play. Rating Morgan higher than Lambert is laughable. It isn't a popularity contest. Just because your favorite player is Morgan don't mean he played well today because he didn't
Seen a few average ratings for Fox today and have to disagree he was quality today showed the gap between 1st and 2nd choice LB
When I found out that Fox was fit I had to strongly resist the urge to punch the air. He was very good today. I've got to have a little moan at Fonte though. A completely needless foul almost gave Barnsley a route back into the match. The ball was going to Davis and he decided to take down the Barnsley player right by the goal line, on the edge of the box. I was absolutely furious with Fonte for that, but he had a solid game overall.
