I'm glad to see a unexpected englishman make the england squad but to be honest, Capello and the FA most really hate us if Jarvis gets a pick before Barton (and to a lesser extent) Nolan. I'm always club before country but even just to see one of those two make the squad would give them some recognition for how they've played this season, which they fully deserve.

Don't get it... I mean we have: Harper, Simpson, Williamson, Barton, Nolan, Ranger, Guthrie and had Routledge and Carroll Sunderland have: Bramble, Clattermole, Richardson and I'm struggling for anymore, but the point is thats more than Chelsea and Man City... Chelsea only have Cole, Terry and Lampard that I can think of and Man City only have Milner, Johnson and Barry and most of them are nailed on certainties to get call ups anyway, so whats the point in watching the top 4? What a joke he is!
Nolan never will, too old and slow now I think. Barton never will as Capello can't see past his actions like 3 years ago. Simpson won't as long as he's a NUFC player as he never bloody watches us!
