By Ali Butt, Reporter Filed: Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 08:00 UK Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has admitted that he still has love for Sunderland ahead of their meeting this afternoon. Henderson, who began his career with the Black Cats, spent three seasons with the senior side at the Stadium of Light before making a £20m move to Liverpool last summer. "I'm looking forward to the game," he told the Sunderland Echo. "I love the club and I get on well with the fans, so I'm looking forward to coming back and acknowledging them. "It felt strange playing against Sunderland on the first day of the season. [Today] is bound to be a bit odd for me, seeing all the staff again." The 21-year-old has made 25 appearnaces for the Reds in his first season at the club. well if he gets the chance to score against us i hope he does a Chopra, but nice to hear Jordan
best deal the club has ever done was sell Henderson for 20m he is a decent enough player and I hope he has a good career in the league but he is ordinary like, there is nothing special to his game. hopefully he has no effect today and we manage to get a point or three, after today good luck to the lad
No matter who he plays for , Sunderland will always be his home town. Wish the lad well for his career , except when he plays us.
