a bit like arsen eh? kennys been back for just over a year and he's won more silverware than wenger has in the last six!
Poor game, two teams lacking any sort of creativity or fluidity in attack. Sunderland probably deserved it, just, in the end. Well done to them and good luck for the rest of the season. 3 losses in a row in the league for us though, really needs to be sorted out somehow. Not playing people who are out of form would be a start, and getting the likes of Maxi and Shelvey in the team who have played pretty well when given chances.
After your game last week against Arsenal when you played well, bUt could not score but RvP could I feared you would score lots, but I cannot recall that many shots Mig had to save. Mind we did not have two many shots either, although Bendtner and Campbell were better forwards that Suraez and Kuyt and then when Caroline came on he was ineffectual. If you are going back to the Pool of old you have to score goals, hang onto Suarez andk dump, Caroline and Downing they are duds. I am very happy about our 3 points and on balance I think we deserved it!
After today I think Liverpool signed the wrong Sunderland midfielder. Colback looks the better player. What do the Liverpool fans think?
dont give them any bloody ideas.... Henderson moved too soon IMO, another season or two with us would have been better for him. He will come good though imo, he wont be Liverpools worst buy of last summer....
Pool fans seem to think it is all Charlie Adams fault, personally I reckon he is not too bad, dirty mind should have been booked. Why was not Stevie G on from the start?
Yea - I think we deserved it, I've seen up play a lot better but with Sess and Catts missing it was always going to be a bit of a make do and mend performance. Liverpool looked worse than us though and if you didn't know what their team cost you wouldn't have guessed it on that showing. Just heard Dalglish on TV and he said "Yes they won, but it was a poor game" and then he actually smiled as if his team was somehow above worrying about the poor games... newsflash Mr Dalglish - it was still worth three points. The blue half of Liverpool next and it's going to be another without Sess and Catts (and Bendtner??) but O'Neill has me actually believing we can progress despite that. Haway the lads!
Was coming back from injury, and we've got the derby on Tuesday. So he probably was only able to start one of the games. Guess the derby is just more important.
To be honest Liverpool's remaining fixtures are all winnable. You have played the top 4 home and away already
This is as good a time as any to try to give our youngsters some experience. With that in mind, it's a bit unfortunate that Kenny still thinks we're in with a shout of CL football. We're not. We're in Europe next season no matter what, so it doesn't matter whether we finish 5th or 10th as far as I'm concerned.
