Carroll or Torres. Who is worse? All for our amusement lads, the 2 worst footballers on earth right now, a combined worth of £85million and a massive 13 goals in 92 games. So the most expensive English player or the most expensive Spanish player. Who is worse?
Carroll. He contributes much less that Torres, who actually puts some work in and contributes with assists. Torres' fee was higher, but Chelsea can definitely afford to waste £50m more than Liverpool can afford to waste £35m.
Torres does touch the ball during the game which is much more than Carroll does so he has that on his side. However Carroll has scored more ( 8 to Ferns 5 )
Carroll a joke again And I get questioned why I call Dalglish a buffoon! He is the most out of touch manager in the premiership. And he has not got a clue! I now read that most of the scousers fans are seeing the light. Better late than never...
True, but Torres has ten assists for Chelsea compared to Carroll with three for Liverpool. And three of Carroll's goals were against Exeter, Brighton and Oldham...
I have seen a few critical posts on their board. But how quickly has that HUGE Carling Cup feeling evaporated! Dalglish the buffoon celebrated the cup win like they have won the premiership title for the first time, the champions league and the FA cup all into one. Within a week, he came down with a bump. Out of a CL Place and now fighting for SEVENTH place. What a shameful slide into mediocrity!
If united had to sign one of them, I would take Torres easily. He will eventually find form and be decent, a carrol in form is not
torres is a much better player Then Carroll, Torres has just lost his confident and he's not on form, for me i think Torres should move to another club where he'll have no pressure on his shoulders.
They are both absolutely dross, but Torres just edges this as he cost 15 million more, and is on higher wages
Apparently Torres turned down United when he signed for Liverpool(at least thats what pool fans said). If thats true it may have been a lucky escape for us. At least he's moved on to Chelsea now to win things after a disappointing spell at Liverpool.
Agreed. How anyone can have judged Carroll to be worth £35m is beyond comprehension! I have read on the scousers board the moronic fans clamouring for more money to be spent in the summer. Honestly would you give that buffoon hundred pounds never mind millions to spend?
Both are equally rubbish but at least Torres used to be a good player, that's something I guess. Spare a moment for poor United though: instead of spending money on a proven world class striker like Liverpool and Chelsea did, we're stuck with some unknown kid from Mexico.
