You never know. This is an unpredictable league, anything can happen. Who would have guessed Saints would be beaten by Donny and Brizzol
Very true. We now have a run of four games from which I rate our chances of taking twelve points - so we may well flirt with the play-offs for a short while. After that though, things look a lot tougher..........
The thing is that Cardiff and Hull also have games in hand......obviously they might both not capitalise on that....as well as Birmingham....but it's unlikely. Still....like I said before....it's mathematically possible. Starting to wonder if winning all our 10 games left would even be enough though.......the league is less competitive this year than most are.
I cant see us getting too much away at leeds. However the next 3 matches have to be 3 pointers. Cov, Brizzol and Ipswich.
Tomorrow will tell IMO. If the Dirty Weeds get anything at Middlesboro then possibly their form against Soton last week could be more than a one-off. Otherwise, they have been playing tripe recently & there's no reason why we can't exact revenge from them.
Ditto, great result. Happy days, PLAY OFF DREAMS or at least we can flirt with it for a bit if we get a few good results over the lower teams in the forthcoming fixtures. COYH ! Enjoy the weekend ladies and gentlemen !
I have just spoken to Jon Marks on Twitter and he says that Troy told him he felt fine after the match, just that he landed awkwardly, he was just exhausted. Its no surprise that he is exhausted, he has given 100% in all his matches and having played 3 in 7 days he must be shattered.
Here is an interesting stat about Dychey. "he has made a better start to management than Malky Mackay did after 36 games." Make of that what you will. I just assume it means that Sean Dyche is better than that cock ever was!!
thanks for posting that BHD! I wanted to rewind and listen again, I wasn't sure I'd heard it correctly!
I did the same. TWICE!! But i had to post it, just so that the Anti-dyche brigade can see it. If they still exist.
As this came on the local radio as i went to get dinner i had to post it.
well that was a fun day out! We were amazing in the first 15 minutes, and could have romped it if we'd carried on playing that way but we gradually lost our way a bit, and it did get very scrappy by the end. Their goal was probably a GK error, or so it looked. The pen was clear cut, bloody ridiculous that it wasn't given but by that stage we could tell that nothing was going to go our way with the ref or the lino. Weird, the ref seemed ok in the first half, but someone must have got to him at half time coz he started playing for Derby! Mad decisions and Derby players falling over for no reason, coz they realised that's all they had to do to get a free kick...thankfully though, it didn't pay off. Not sure what Mapps got the card for, seemed like nothing to me, very odd. Still, everyone had a much better game today, especially in the first half, and we made it very difficult for Derby, which was great! The save in stoppage time was outstanding, which was a huge relief...thankfully Kuszczak didn't have much to do...he spent a lot of time jumping around to keep warm lol. A couple of great saves, but the goal should have been dealt with. We are definitely inconsistent but it's amazing to see us in 14th and virtually safe. Very happy Hornette tonight!
i don't think he is...but he made up for it after that with a couple of cracking saves, so i think he'd get away with it lol
Well from what i saw it was an all defense cock up. We should not have let it bounce in the box, we needed to blast it clear. But recent mistakes have created uncertainty between the back 4 and TK.
