Morning all. Nothing to report today. Only that its now 7days till my 21st, almost to the hour. Today will be a day of cleaning the room and assignments. However, nobody will interrupt my listening to the 'Orns!!

I thought i felt my ears burning as i slept Leo. Its nice to see you about, and you are half right. I used to watch it as a child with my Grandad, but i have not for a few years.

I used to watch it when I was young. I loved Geoff Hamilton. We were on holiday, Mum and I were in the car waiting for Dad to come back and we heard he had died on the radio (I was 8!). None of the presenters since have matched up to him.

Afternoon all - just stopped for a coffee and a hot X bun.....blind in Little Miss W_Y's bedroom is fixed (#1 priority as she is home on Thursday), shoes polished, shower door fixed, car back from the garage. Next is to have a final read of Mrs W_Y Uni assignment on the under achievement in writing skills of nursery age boys <yikes> before she submits it, then I will make a gallon of Onion soup - #1 son was working at a farm in the week and the farmer gave him 2 huge bags of Onions!, so i will do that whilst listening to 3CR. Then it will be Beer O'Clock....

Bloody Nora - what is she studying? The role of nursery age boys in the fields of academe is to use their hands to make mud pies, not write!

Am watching Hearts vs St Mirren on the box - Craig Beattie is having a blinder, scored one & had one (incorrectly) disallowed as well as having a hand in another.

    Allez les Horns....

Not only watched Gardeners' World last night, gave the grass its first mow this morning, pruned a couple of rose bushes and began clearing out dead growth in other plants. Never cease to be amazed at how much pleasure I get from it...couldn't stand gardening when I worked full time...but then we didn't have views across farmland or time on our hands then...

I used to be a regular watcher of GW - Alan Titmarsh was just about OK but I cannot stand Monty Don and as for that Toby Buckland..........

As an aside, when he was presenter I always wanted to go up to Geoff Hamilton's garden at Barnsdale (near Peterborough), but for years never managed it. One Saturday my wife and I finally went up there and spent a very pleasant afternoon walking around his many gardens.

    The next day he died.........

    What game's that from?

There was another couple of terrible linesman errors in the Hearts vs St Mirren cup tie this afternoon - Craig Beattie had a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside when he clearly wasn't, then the St Mirren keeper handled the ball outside the box when Beattie was closing in on him, but the ref waved play on. In both cases, the lino was staring straight at the incident - Hearts fans were 'upset' to say the least.

Who gives a f8ck - the Stoptoe's lost and that is all that matters. In any case their equaliser was miles offside, so it evened up. Ha Ha F**king Ha...

About ****ing time. Although saying that, its still a long way off. Knowing Blatter he has probably passed a law saying that he has 10 votes, or that which ever way he votes, everyone else has to as well.
