    It's hardly something new, I'm sure everyone remembers Zola Budd. And anyway, the problem for me is headline - Mo Farrah, born and raised in Somalia, lives in the USA. How would he be a better captain?

    And? He has also chosen as an adult to move to the USA and make that his permanent home. How does that make him a better choice and inspirational patriot than Porter? If anything she is better cos she has chosen to move here!

    Dont patronise me, I know exactly why he has moved there. I do follow athletics. The fact remains he has chosen to live there and plans to do so for the forseeable future and none of this makes him a better choice of captain, which the Mail were furiously putting him forward for. I'm not saying Porter shouldve been captain - Ennis is the logical choice if purely because most of the UK has heard of her and recognise her - but Porter has as much if not more worth than Mo has.
