    Sorry to talk footy chaps.

Great to see the cross bridge derby back with some interest. With BCFC doing well in their last fixture and us not doing so well, it could be quite interesting. Certainly not the one sided affairs of recent games.

    Looking forward to it.

Don't apologise clingo - this thread could go the same way as others have done. Too many forget this is essentially a football forum with a bit of banter thrown in.

Nothing wrong with a bit of piss-taking (I do my fair share), but for Christ's sake, let's not degenerate this from a decent inter-club game thread with anymore politico/religious crap. <ok>

Great football rivalry between the two clubs over the years, and some seriously funny chat between fans on the old Beeb 606 for those who remember.

"Wales has Imogen Thomas and her haunted vagina"

    It's haunted?

Funnily enough last time I was up there it was icy cold and I met that Derek Acorah wandering around with a film crew, I wondered what that was all about!

Sad that being a welshmen I had to google translate that!

I have always followed Bristol City which if it wasn't for a ****ing huge bridge is really my local city! So I get stick from the Welsh saying I'm not real Welsh and get called sheep shager by the people in work, even sadder that the ones who say most of this, we work 3 miles from Ashton Gate and they take the piss out of me being Welsh and supporting City when they support Tottenham, Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal!

I get that a lot too Red but yet I haven't missed a home Welsh international (footy not peanut snatching) for well over 10 years now and during that time I haven't missed too many u21s either except when they've played up north. The u21s introduced me to Ribs and Wilson who were class for them. Shame they're not in the current City team as I think they would do better jobs!

Wont be there Shiney, but I'll still be coming over something if we win.

I was very near to premature ejaculation against Brighton, but then they equalised in the last minute and it went down quicker than Bristol City...........<laugh>

A few beers inside while watching the Rugby! 4 down, 1 to go.

Reading running away with it, but some of the other results will help up.

Peterborough stuffing Blackpool, Burnly drawing as are Hull. Could do with Portsmouth grabbing a goal.

Looking forward to a few goals against the wurzles!

relatively even game in terms of chances, however we've kept the ball much better in the centre of the park. good signing to get lawrence in, we have 2 players in centre midfield who get their heads up and pick out the right passes. too many balls are going long, the main culprit being turner.

bristol have offered very little going forwards, pearson apart marshall hasnt been threatened. pearson was also lucky to stay on the pitch after a reckless challenge on whitts.

the midfielders are interchanging, cowie is on the left, right, then mason pops up on the left, good ball in by him for the goal.

overall, we have controlled the game and i hope we see it out <ok>

So many empty seats. A huge load down the front of me in the Atyeo.

Apparently tickets were £25. When it's televised.

    What the hell?
