Sorry - I just felt a sense of danger and self-preservation. Think I might have survived on the Titanic...or rather off it! :emoticon-0116-evilg

In fact, come to think of it maybe there shouldn't be any argument over 'the Falklands' :emoticon-0107-sweat

What about this unusual 1954 medal then - must be worth at least a quid. Enough to buy.... mmmm.... a football club?

The market for 1954 examiner cup medals is a very limited one.....although I'd imagine the pool to be a lot deeper than the one containing people willing to spend upwards of £88m on something they could could pick up a cheap imitation of for a fraction of the price in a few months.

Who are the Blue Knights (or the Lube Knights) planning to buy the club from?

Quite right, D&P are making eyes at the blew nights but it ain't theirs to sell.

Bug eyes pushed hard to get D&P in.
D&P say he isn't in the driving seat. But he does have first dibs on poundland and murray park.

So either some clowns come along and spend (x) on assuming a massive debt, or whytey drives the good ship dignity onto the rocks and sheds the massive debt.

The man is a total bollocks, but ****in' hell he has balls of steel to try and pull this off.

Yes, just as well you chaps pulled back from the brink for I was just about to bore you tired with the history of the Falkland islands.

ps I don't have my "Gun", damned spoilsports made me hand it back when I left.

Yes, indeed Dev. Pulling back from the brink of a bad situation, danger or disaster is always a wise move. On the other hand, pushing or tipping someone or something over the brink is, usually, an unwise move.

Although credit must go to his predecessor for bringing Rangers FC (in administration) to the brink, Mr Whyte's tipping of his club over the brink has, however, been an excellent move and one of those rare exceptions to the rule as it may have provided the opportunity to rid Scottish and European football of an 'institution' rotten to the core. :emoticon-0116-evilg

I have to give credit where credit is due and compliment this consortium on avoiding taking on a name which could be construed in any way as masonic in nature.
