Dzemaili to Newcastle,WHAT DO U THINK ?

News from talkSPORT today that Newcastle are in a three-way fight to sign Napoli’s Blerim Dzemaili this summer.

 

supposed to be decent this lad only heard good things although I always have reservations about signing players from Italy as the tempo and style is completely different from the PL.

Can't say I know much about Dzemaili, Fat Sam had him at Bolton for a while and nothing became of it so we'll just have to wait and see. I've got complete faith in our scouting team though and if they give a heads up that'll be good enough for me.

Having watched the Italian league quite a but I can confirm that Napoli's play style is certainly not at a slow tempo!

 

Hmm, saw him play for zuerich back in the day, where he was very good. Then he sat on Boltons bench for 18 months, went to .. Brescia or somewhere and got a bad injury. Got recalled to the swiss national side a few times, but they're desperate for players at times, even when the ones they have are quite good. No idea how he's doing now. He was a talent, but most be at least 26 now.

 

If this guy constantly plays in Napoli's first team it would be a coup if we could get him because they are class. If it's true then Guthrie is definitely on the way out.

 

My concern is that Napoli play a mental formation (3-4-2-1 i think), and so he may need some time to adapt to our 'normal' 4-4-2
