I think it is good news most of us appreciate Hogan for the player he is and the potential to come, personally I think he could even be used better as a defensive option be it in a couple of years.
I don't like it when people slag off players for being "Light Weight" Messi is "light weight" Chicharito is "light weight" David Silva is "light weight" Aguero is "light weight" Even SWP is "light weight" and breaking the first team, and not really at his best. I don't really see the problem... With a bit more football, reserve or otherwise, i think Hogan will give himself a good chance of playing some Premier league football sometime soon... Hopefully with the 'R's
Flyer, you sound like a bit of a plank if I do say so myself. He should've always been in the 25. Maybe he won't make it at this level but the lad ain't been given the chance yet.
Hogan scored a cracker away at the blades and against donny. He's young and needs encouragement but has talent & skill. A good move IMO
Sorry Guys, I think he's had four years to make his mark and he's always been a peripheral figure. He's just Championship level...
For me, one of the things Warnock cocked up was the 25 man squad selection. There were some very strange inclusions and exclusions at the beginning of the season. Hogan should have been in the squad as he's a good substitute who can do a good bit of running when others' legs get tired.
He probably means lightweight as he will go missing when they going gets tough, the other players wont, they are always there when needed. Remember Parejo, always wanted the ball no matter how much he was closed down or the crowd got onto him, Hogan will hide on the wing and wont get involved in a similar situation. The other thing people are forgetting is that if we have 25 players, we have to name them all. We cant sign any free agents like fulham did with Diarra.
Hes not even good enough for a team chasing promotion in the NPC, he has no hope at PL level. Let me guess, youre also one of those who thinks Kenny has been playing great as well?
