You are right, this is what I was confused about - either they own the tickets and they are comfortable that they own the assets - or they are bricking it and want some of the money back in case they don't own the tickets.
Seen that but surely they would then be unable to do business with other clubs if they owned Rangers?
It's more likely that they can see that Rangers are doomed to face liquidation and they want as much cash as they can grab before it all goes pear -shaped.
There is so much bullshit going around and being passed off as 'news'. In regards to Ticketus, owning RFC would certainly be one way of guaranteeing they got their money back.
I must admit I find it hard to understand why they would think that way. I would pish my pants (with laughter) if it turned out to be true though.
I'd guess at window dressing so the new owner can just offer extensions to these players rather than go out and spend money on brand spanking new players......either that, or D&P making it look like that is what they are doing.
Ticketus appear to be backing the Paul Murray consortium. Presumably they feel this is the best way to safeguard their interests.
I'm only interested in my bet now. I want Rangers to stay afloat, but dump all their decent players. The ****ers all agreeing pay cuts to the summer is not helping.
I only used it because the w button on my computer doesn't work properly and it is easier to type "shall" than "will". Although I am very confident that Rangers will not be sold.
I think you're right in any case - upper, lower or with keys not working. Isn't this whole saga something else? I'm awaiting the 'Exclusive Full Story of the scandal behind Rangers FC', when it eventually comes out, 'from our hard-hitting reporters undercover investigation'............
It's alright for you 'billionaires' who can afford such things at the drop of a hat...or football club here or there.
