It's a thread that can be constantly updated throughout the years and everyone can co tribute their own pics and vids etc... Thanks!
The youth academy, no other one in the country has amassed so much value in its players in the past five years. IIRC, Danny Wallace's brilliant overhead goal was a move started by Mark Wright [as commentator Barry Davies says], but what you don't see from that clip was that Wright was just a few yards ahead of Saints own 'D', and he passed to Worthington, who did an absolutely brilliant first touch lofted reverse pass to Dennis, who collected it in his stride, and motored down the wing, where the video picks up the action. The only delay is where the Liverpool defender charges down Dennis's first cross, where he then readjusts to do it again. On the end of it, waiting is Mark Wright. Now I've watched the whole move, time and time again, and to this day, I still don't quite know how Wright gets there, ready and waiting. He must have had winged heels.
I've been holding myself back on this since the first posting, and I know it's ultra picky of me RLGB, at the end of a very nice thread [and hopefully one that will continue for very many years to come] but surely you realised that the word Proudness in the title was a bit odd and clunky..? Of course, you were looking for Pride, but I suppose we found it in the content.
3m50s - "You'd think Southampton were playing at home!" - classic quote. Was a cracking day out. For some reason as well I remember that Monkou chance as if it were yesterday, dunno why.

the 2011/12 season when we stayed in the top 2 of the championship all season the year after going up. Whether or not we get into the prem, that is a heck of an achievment...
14th March 2009. Playing QPR at St Mary's. Those who were there that day represent the heart of Southampton football club.
