    CISSE: 'I OWE EVERYONE GOALS!'
Posted on: Fri 09 Mar 2012

Djibril Cisse returns from a three match suspension this weekend and the message from the French international is clear: 'I owe it to the whole Club - the Manager, the players and the fans - to make up for my red card.'

Cisse was given his marching orders on his home debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers*at the start of last month, just days after making his QPR bow with a goal against Aston Villa.

However, the past is the past, and with the former Lazio star set to make his comeback this Saturday lunchtime against Bolton Wanderers, the man himself is ready to return in style.

"I'm delighted to be back and I can't wait to help out the team for the run-in," Cisse told London Call-In on Thursday evening.

"It felt a lot longer than a three game ban.

"I've spent a lot of time thinking about what I did and I know I shouldn't have reacted like I did.

"I owe it to the whole Club - the Manager, the players and the fans - to make up for it."

Cisse added: "I was really satisfied with my start at QPR, but I let everyone down with the red card.

"The only way I can repay everyone is by scoring goals and helping the team win games."

Tomorrow's fixture against the Trotters represents Rangers with a huge opportunity to pull clear of the dreaded drop zone, with Wanderers currently occupying 19th spot in the top-flight.

"It's a really big game - a six point game if you like," he said.

"If we win, we create a gap between ourselves and Bolton. That will be a big step for us.

"We have to win - it's as simple as that."

Onouha is backing him as well. A positive and ' Up for it ' camp? Let's hope so.

Cisse desperate to get back in the side, reveals Onuoha

Cisse managed just one full appearance for the Rs before being sent off against Wolves last month, earning the former Liverpool and Sunderland striker a three-match suspension.

However, the France international, who was signed from Lazio in January, is available for this weekend’s trip to the Reebok Stadium which could prove crucial in the Rs’ bid to stay in the Premier League – and Onuoha says he is raring to go.

“He’s itching to go and this week leading up to the game I think he’ll be doing everything he can to try to get back into the side,” said Onuoha.

“Maybe Bolton at the weekend will be a bit more wary of a player who has something to prove because he has been away for so long.

“He is a top player, and he’s been training hard. It’s a boost for us, and it probably puts the other strikers that we have under pressure because they know his attributes and his quality.”

Cisse’s return coincides with QPR’s biggest game of the season so far, with just two points separating Rangers in 16th from Bolton in 19th.

“It’s a points business now, it doesn’t matter where you get them,” added Onuoha. “It might be quite tense at the weekend, but I think we have enough quality in the side to get the three points.

“We’ll have to be at our best because they’re looking for the points just like we are.”

"...and I commit myself to QPR even if we were to get relegated". I doubt he thinks he owes us that much. :)

I like the fact that he's apparently been training hard - makes it more than just saying what he thinks he should.

I think the only ones who we can guarantee being at the club if we go down are the supporters.

If this QPR squad walked as well as it talked we'd be top of the league.

Really liking the good attitude of some of the players, Mackie, Cisse, Young, Traore, all looking to make an impact, and looking to keep us in the PL. Taarabt has also made a change in HIS attitude this season; coming back to defend. Yes, everyone makes mistakes, but some if not all of these guys deserve to be in the PL.
Barton, IMO, does also, though many of you may not agree with me; he helps with Gay rights in football, and is looking to change his poor attitude from before; and this, i think should give him reason to stay in the PL.

All the players owe it to the fans to give 100%], and to stick with us even IF we are relegated.

As a matter of interest, who was the last Ranger to score a hat-trick in a competitive game? Was it Furze?

TBH I don't just tried googling it and found odds on players to score hat tricks tomorrow and one generous bookmaker offering 375 to 1 if Perone does it.

I'm no bookmaker but I will offer 1 billion to 1 on that happening far more generous odds I think you will agree; Now place your bets. :)

Cureton, although Ledesma and Routledge scored hat-tricks in the League Cup.
