    1. We lost to the most in form team in the Premiership atm, you lost to Stoke ffs

    2. Caroll was terrible, again and looks like a bad joke (8th most expensive player in history)

That was a bit of luck or you might have lost 5-0

You started an earlier thread about Caroll, he was shoite today, but to answer you earlier question, we were not good today - no excuses, that's all.

    There, happy now?

you guys were unlucky today for one that was not a penalty, and then you got done by a bit of suarez magic.
at the start off the game you really worried us but after a couple of forced substitutions it didnt do you any favours, but you put up a good fight and shame them who play in black and white couldnt of done that at the weekend.

I've been asking the same question for years now - Why do the mags have such an inferiority complex?

It'll only get worse I suppose once they learn how to do joined up writing..............

I don't think we were unlucky today. Muntari going off, too bad but Cattermole on in his place, six of one ... Richardson going off, Malbranque on: a step up in quality. Penalty was a bad decision, OK, but you might have scored from the free-kick. Red card was harsh but the game was over by then. However, I don't think we were unlucky because I think we got what we deserved. Liverpool played second fiddle for the first 20 minutes or so but as soon as they got the break, they showed they were really interested in getting something out of this game. This is one of the poorest Liverpool teams we've seen in the past 30 years qualitywise (apart from Suarez and Reina) but they have a bit of fire in their bellies (take a bow Mr Dalglish), they want their team to win. We had none. It was pretty for 20 minutes but then a setback and we disappeared. We did not "put up a good fight".
I've never walked out of a game before the end but if I'd been there today, I would have thought seriously about it. I was able to get back for the Blackpool game at Christmas but though we lost 2-0 there too, at least we had a go. There, we were unlucky and put up a really good fight. It was a great game, we lost but I came away encouraged. Today, no.

we get peeved because we see a good team showing flashes of what can be and lots of fight. the same team then fizzle out and fight goes.
