If any off you are looking for a decent cetre back for saints search for mathieu peybernes absaloute beast in the championship and is dominant in the prem. Has good speed and strength so good all round player. Also he is young so has a decent potential... Doesnt look amazing from his stats but for some reason he is a BEAST at corners... like scores every three games in the prem. 2 mill and he is yours
For anyone who is interested here are my transfers on my new save http://gyazo.com/2d9dddbe860629f866d333074cc300c9 Tried not to sign the usual suspects that I always sign in the hope that it will get me back into the game
Can never get him to do well for me, find that pacy strikers are by far the most effective on the game so when Sunderland came along I took their money. I always end up using him as about 4th choice in the first season then releasing him when I get promoted so thought I would sell him while I had the chance.
Macheda is class for me, scored 21 his first season, 25 his second (in the prem) and 32 this season gone were I just won the league.
In the Championship only strikers Kenny Miller, Wilfred Zaha and Carlton Cole are rated higher. I might question if they should be (especially Zaha), but to say Lambert isn't rated highly on FM12 is a nonsense.
He may be highly rated but the match engine favours strikers with high pace in my experiences, which Lambert doesn't have so isnt as effective as other lower rated players.
MLG - has Danny foxes rating Bren decreased? He doesn't appear to be the player he was before the patch and Harding is keeping him out the squad in my save.. With consistently good defensive performances!
I use Lambert as a trequartista and Jay Rodriguez (£4m) as an advanced forward or poacher. Works like a charm in the Championship.
