http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17302329 Clever plan really, give each of the teams we have to play a striker.
Playing a team who are sitting in 17th position and don´t really have anything to play for, this is a game fans that fans will expect to win "comfortably"....If we don´t get the 3 points Saturday then I fear for our promotion credentials. We should be looking to get 15/15 in our last 5 home games.
Playing a team that has nothing to lose could be a regular banana skin, there is no excuse for complacency, but **it happens.
This game we must win and win well. My team would be: Davis Frazier Fonte Jos Fox/Harding Chaplow Hammond Schneiderlin Lallana Lambert Sharp Subs: Bart, Harding/Fox, Cork, De Ridder, Lee, Martin
Keeping our strike force happy is going to be a challenge for NA. Rickie is a shoo-in, plus one of several, including the old guard and the newcomers, leaving the rest either on the bench or not even in the squad. Tricky. A comfortable 3 or 4-0 on Saturday COYS
I agree this has potential cock up written all over it. Ipswich were coming in good form so a draw wasn't that bad a result. Not beating Barnsley would be much more of a blow. That said I'm sure Nigel will have the lads pumped up for it and if Billy plays I think he'll silence a few doubters on here with his first goal. COYR!
Will be interesting next Tuesday too with a few teams playing a game in hand, including Cardiff, Reading and Birmingham. This will bring Cardiff and Reading level on games with us and leave Birmingham with one more game in hand. Obviously Reading are the most important, only playing Doncaster but they are a team in the fight for survival so could put up a fight.
I would play Davis Richardson, Fonte, Hooiveldt, Fox Chaplow, Cork, Schneiderlin, Lallana Lambert, Lee Subs/ Martin, Hammond, Sharp, Guly, Don't want to see Bald Eagle, Skippy and Spiderman play together as we don't seem to play well when they do.
4-0. Sharp and a Morgan hat trick. About as likely as me being Prime Minister Monday, I guess. OK 4-0 and a Rickie hat trick. Happy?
Yes, but that's a bit like the Queen's official birthday. Everyone knows that it's not really her birthday. And that own goal wasn't really his first goal.
And the Leeds game. Barnsley are so average. We must win this. I'll be equalling cheering for saints and Leicester on Saturday
