    For CL, United usually give say, 3k tickets, to away fans.

    Are allocations bigger (6500 maniacs last night) in the EL?

    I did read a while back that United agreed to give Bilbao an increase in the ticket allocation for Bilbao.

    Nah, allocations are minimum 5% of the ground for any European game, CL or EL.

    Utd probably just gave them a higher allocation cos we couldn't sell out the whole stadium for an EL game. The top parts of the quadrants were closed off so there were only around 60,000 fans in the stadium. A commercial decision that probably backfired given how vocal the Bilbao supporters were...
