I watched Mancehster United v Athletic Bilbao yesterday. I was thinking they came to defend,but was surprised that they took the game to Manchester United.To be sincere, in as much as I wanted United to win they deserved to win. To stand a chance of progressing Manchester United have to score two goals next week without conceding.

this one was approached with little espect to Bllbao. UNited were not good when they did not have posession, they were set up with having lots of the ball in mind, that didn't happen, did Fergie even watch Bilbao before the game? Where's fistian with his buffoon comments now
Why are you always trying to fit the square in to the circle shaped hole I mean, it was clearly directed at Fistian, which is why the sentence was seperated from the rest. And my point stands, United approached this with what looked like no clue as to what Bilbao could do
One of the beauties of the europa league is that sides aren't too fussed if they lose. This means that they will go all out in games. You don't get that in the CL as it's too money motivated - gots to love the europa league!
From a fans perspective I think thats true but do you really think the players don't care? I think all players want to win every game they play, never mind trophies they compete for.
the real story is any side who forgets reputation and brings a game to win to utd they've got a chance. with thie players utd are now fielding if you don't have at least a go you shouldn't be in football. same goes for chelsea as well.
We certainly didn't look like we cared last night. Bilbao were pressing and chasing down like their lives depended on it whilst we were far too sloppy. It'll be interesting to see what happens in Bilbao now - Bilbao are obviously massive favourites to go through, but will that lead to a bit more pressure on their, a la Porto in the CL in 2009?

what ever the score was, you still got knocked out by them, even by A madrid a year before, even though they were a good side, you were still favorites to win them
