Resign!! Then, get reinstated via the Industrial Tribunal route, citing unreasonable behaviour from your employer...which it most definitely is. Unlucky City.
Just logged onto my PPower account and see that they are running one of their specials again... £10 bet £165 return on a Grand Crus (RSA) + HF + LR... WHills pay £135 and Ladbrokes pay £94... To be honest its not a bad deal but i do have my resevrvations over the Grand Crus bit... Im not sure that he will win the RSA... I think that any of the top 5 in the market could win this and im sure that Bobs Worth, Invictus, First Lieutenant and Sir Des Champs will have more than a good chance in where the RSA will go...
For those that have not supported anything in the Bumper, take a look at Horatio Hornblower on his debut, a Grade One race at Newbury and just keep your eye on the jockey! More to come, without doubt lads ;-)
http://cuhrs.blogspot.com/2012/03/supreme-bet.html 1pt EW Hinterland at 40/1 NRNB Supreme Novices' Hurdle
just done three chelts bets which i reckon have a god chance-1)divers e/w at 8s in byrne plate,2) overturn e/w at 20s without the fly in champs hurdle, price is already coming down on this 3)village vic e/w at 16s in champs bumper-Anyone reckon any of these can come in?
Ste - I've done very little work on the Bumper but I keep hearing positive about the fav. Minefield of a race IMO, I liked the look of Jezki from the (little) time I spent on this the other night, I'll be following the Irish money on the day....
http://m.racingpost.com/#news-story/story_id=996868 INVICTUS now doubtful for the RSA? Terrible news for the race, as he would be a superb contender with his jumping.
Hinterland is out of the Imperial Cup and, most importantly, the Fred Winter. That leaves him with just the Supreme and the Triumph, and given Nicholls' hand in the Triumph I think the Supreme has to be favourite now.
Barry Geraghty confirmed to ride Asaid in the Triumph. 50/1 still available and 100/1 on Betfair making him look a massive price From Geraghty's Blog After Geraghty rode Asaid at Leopardstown, Ferguson sent him to Towcester in February where he stayed on strongly up the hill to beat Shangani two lengths. Geraghty said: "I think the Leopardstown race woke him up because he felt a different horse this morning, very switched on. I was delighted with him."
cheers roto, I like asaid. thought his race in Ireland was okay in the ground, will like a nice fast pace. I've just had an each way double for Wednesday, argocat at 16s in the Fred winter, fits the trends, tom taafe don't waste trips, faves too short. and walkon 33 rsa, a few near the top of the betting will miss it, again faves too short, only one good gigginstown presumably, and just hoping he'll get home in this cos not many do every year. also with ste 16s overturn without the fly. keeps getting tipped up on previews, I'm dubious as to how itll improve on last year but won't be that price on the day and don't really fancy anything except the fly.
I know not chelters but this weekend ted spread in imperial cup has to have a great chance n I expect to be backed off the boards...
Took the overturn odds with pp last week after strong vibes from j McGuire.like Moscow mannion in the bumper but way to short at 6s n I think village vic ran one of the strongest prep races when he was beaten by a neck to shutthefrontdoor n r Johnson told Davy Russell over a few beers it has a great chance!
Wooly - stop it ! Are you going to do hourly countdowns from now ? Friday before Cheltenham is officially the dullest day of the year....
