i suppose the scottish league cup final is about the same level as the english FA VASE.

Though neither rangers or celtic would be good enough to reach the fa vase final

:-)

Id agree the hungrier team won - Celtic didnt show up. Makes for an interesting run in. Do you think Lennon not being on the touchline affected Celtics performance?

That's a possibilty I had considered. Who knows, Alan Thompson or Mjallby said the players did not do what they were told.

I think it did. It will be interesting to see the next Celtic league game and if they turn up

I was being sarcastic when I said Celtic did not turn up though it's partly true.

I was sick of hearing that Rangers had "Not turned up" for the previous 4 games. No real credit was given to Celtic as the focus seemed to be on Rangers' poor performances. I think it was partly down to Rangers on those occasions but Celtic were by far the better side in those matches, i'm confident they will be in the next encounter.

DOn't talk ****e Dev, Celtic blootered us in 3 of the last 4 games, even the most blinkered Bear would say that.

We were out played, tactically inept and were deservedly reemered by Celtic.

In the CIS cup, it was closer and we deservedly won.

That's it finished now, it's going to be a close run-in for the title.

Yes?

I agree, but not all Gers fans would see it that way would they?

Ofcourse not, everyone is different.

Just like when you go onto 606 and some Tims are saying that it was the refs fault, it was the Hampden groundsmans fault and that it was Loovens fault that you lost the Final.

The truth is that Rangers were hungrier, turned the game into a scrap, didn't allow Celtic time on the ball, and reaped the rewards.

I just hope that Rangers can maintain that level of performance for the rest of the season.
