It's been a tiring few months for many reasons and a weary old man has replaced that young, vibrant, energetic, highly intelligent, very sexed up, trim, handsome young man I used to be,(did I go a little OTT there)?

A big build up to a non event really, I'm going away for a week to chill but taking my laptop to make sure I don't.

On Saturday Osca goes for his morning walk but does not return, he will be dropped off at her house down the street for his week away.

Football for me to see out warriors thrash those scallies from Liverpool then collect my Indian takeaway on my way home, football first for me.

Sunday morning, up and of to Wales, Dinas Dinlle on the north coast to be exact, an apartment overlooking the sea, sky sports and internet connection and a week of isolation, walks along the beach and total peace.

Looked at Cyprus, Portugal, Malta, Spain but could not be chewed with airports, I love driving, love the sea and found this place that just sounded right.

Why am I telling you lot, well, why not.

    You're going to Wales?

... by choice?!? You are aware that there are a lot of Welsh people there aren't you?

Have a nice break mate, hope the weather stays nice for you and you only have to use the laptop as a last resort.

I had everything sorted for Cyprus but wanted a chill out rather than a holiday and that sitting around in airports just seemed to be anything but chill. I than found a place in Scotland, right up near Sky but the deal that was good suddenly became extra for towels, then extra for bedding, then extra for electric and I felt like it was screw the Englishman time to told them to do one, it ended up £50 more than 10 days in Cyprus including car hire.

Shamless, I know Wales well, spent some good times working there when I was a boy, went a boy and came home a man, if you get me.

Well syd enjoy your week away. Look forward to hearing from you when you get back to civilisation.

As to your above comment. No I don't think you went a little over the top but you may be right if you substituted the word little with lot.

Hey you weren't expecting some kind of compliment were you. Come on man you know us all better then that. :emoticon-0116-evilg

I'm off to Seville tomorrow for Betis V Madrid.

    Should be canny like.

Seville isn't like Wales, oddly enough.
