QPR has by far the greatest academy - producing such talent as Kevin Gallen, Nigel Quashie and, um, well, there's Ray Jones (pbuh) but he doesn't really exist anymore...
Yeah,we can keep them as in we don't need to sell them,but some might make a huge fuss and start get all pissy and want to leave for a bigger club and earn more money. We've got some good youngsters coming through at the moment .We want to have 50% of our team made out of academy graduates.
Where as teams are constantly breaking in to the top 5 in the PL, just look at man city - and they only had to spend about half a billion!
So you think an unfit 33 year old player who has suffered a number of injuries this season and has barely played a match is going to get on before talented youngsters who are match fit... And therein lies the problem in British football
Yukky Ikxc: I didn't say that though, did I? I said that a cross-section of Spag league matches is bound to be much less entertaining and gripping than the equivalent from EPL.
Instead of making assumptions, why don't you actually watch games from both leagues without the tinted specs on and find out for yourself

Champions League finalists in the last decade: La Liga - 4 Premier League - 7 Even Serie A has had more than the La Liga, and that's been generally shit for years. The PL is terrible isn't it?
Try and concentrate. I regularly watch football matches from both leagues. I have noticed that EPL matches are much more exciting, while recognising that Spanish teams are technically superior to ours. Can you understand words that have two or three syllables in them?
