I know we lost 2-3 today and 2 of rhe goals coming in the second half after Phil Jones retired to center half. I think we lost because we gave our opponents enough confidence to get at us in the first half. I wonder why fergie plays Jones as central midfield. He has no skills whatsoever of a midfielder. He can't pass the ball, he can't dribble, he can't shoot and his positioning is terrible. He's just like invisible and it was like Johnny Evans was doing his job for him. I know fergie thinks because he is strong and a good tackler he can play him so he can break up opposition attack, more like a song, de jong, etc. But that is not the kind of player Jones is.

Every match he has played as a central midfielder has resulted in calamities for us. Fergie should stick with him at right back and never play him as a midfielder again. Now we have made this very difficult for us going to the second leg.

He will be be given the hair dryer treatment by Fergie. Poor awareness from him and should have got to the ball and cleared it.

Well I think we should issue some kind of punishment, its completely unacceptable. Seriously though as its on, I don't think the lad is the polished product in either position but he is definetly a centre half. Like Rio did, he just needs a couple of years to iron out the little errors. Looks like Englands next captain to me.

You lads think you lack a top class midfielder or two in the middle? Scholes is obviously still top quality but I reckon you could do better than Carrick and Anderson.

    Yes.

Carrick is a good player but he needs some dynamism alongside him which Anderson, who is ****e, will never provide.

Cleverley is a good prospect in this respect but we really do need to buy some class for next season.

I think Carrick is a good player, but he just seems like a jack of all trades, master of none. I think you could do with a bit of steel in there, supplemented by a Sneijder type who I think its pretty obvious you have been looking for. Really like Cleverley. Part of the new breed with the likes of Wiltshire, Oxlade Chamberlain, who have that technical ability our national team has been missing. Our treatment of Scholes is the biggest travesty to English football in the last 10 years.

I think Snejider is a Man U type player. I wouldn't want you's to come knocking for Tiote mind! Maybe his booking count wil put people off though because he does kick anything which dares to move.

Fergie is fkn with Jones tbh. Jones is a CB, a fkn good one, he gets a bit carried away in mid, loses the ball 20 yards in oppositions half, far too far up the pitch for this lad to be especially against a team like Bilbao.

The guy can play football, but let him play it from the back, atm he doesn't have the head to play mid against quality opposition. Keep him CB week in week out and let him make it his own for the next 10 years

The fact that Fergie keeps playing Quincy in midfield, indicates to me that we will not be buying one in the summer.
