Fair play to you KE for that statement - Apologies for the outbursts earlier but, I think this should have been well and truly put to bed ages ago! It is tiresome at best.

A while ago Evra accused Kevin Davies of having a 'vendetta against him'. Davies fouls him in a game and he says 'why did you foul me' (sound familiar) and Davies says 'because I don't like you' - now if only Suarez had said that!

We all know what Evra's like. I have no sympathy or liking for him as a manc player.

Suarez got caught in his trap. We should have let go instead of fighting it and digging a big hole for ourselves. At the end of it Suarez will go to another club but we will still be around supporting the reds.

Trap? Maybe. Evra has a victim mentality, as such he will always create and/or find himself in situations were he is the victim, Suarez is just the latest one in the victimhood story.

Players come and go but we fans will always be here, is a good attitude to have. As for letting go or fighting, it's a skill knowing which path to take with a perceived wrong. I hope PR lessons have been learnt from all this.

One can only imagaine John Henry's reactions, across the pond.

"Jeez.I thought we had put this thing to bed. And one of our goddam guys brings it up again? Loretta. Get Ian Ayres on the phone. Now"

Another tranatlatic telephone call, and "unreserved" aplogy perhaps?

The memory of Suarez beating Evra and all the back lines to score in his first season still with Evra.Do I say Evra was scared of Suarez scoring and he gets the blame.<ok>

So Evra fiendishly lured Suarez into a trap to racially abuse him?

I know the manc board is a pile of ****e, but I'm getting sick of all the scum fans sticking their noses into things that don't concern them, on our board. They can have their "Evra is a little angel" thread on their **** board. Over here, Evra is a dirty little cheating French scum drawf and all that is wrong with football. I don't need to hear several manc scum disagreeing with that.

    I love scouse logic.

Suarez was innocent, despite being found guilty. He feels so strongly that he is innocent that he didn't bother to appeal or to try and clear his name.

It was Evra who refused to shake Suarez's hand, despite Suarez apologising for not shaking Evra's hand.

Evra is scum and it's all his fault that Suarez racially abused him.

**** Off Berb. Even your own supporters are just sick and tired of all of this. I know the majority of Redmen on this board are as well.

I'm sick of you lot constantly bringing his up and playing the victim. Your club has been utterly pathetic throughout this whole saga.

You're not really though Berbs, you love it; it makes your day to have yet another excuse to come back to the loving teet of LFC...it's the denial that hurts you most in the end Berbs...just accept your love of all things Liverpool and your life will have meaning again.

Anyway: So there we go; pretty much everyone's had their opinion so we can go on...oh no wait what does the Anfield cat think?.......

None of us are saying that Suarez is innocent? We're all sick of this **** now and I know the majority of the Manc supporters on this board are too. We no Suarez is no angel but neither is Evra - in fact they're both far from angles... And by the way this was a thread on OUR board made by one of OUR supporters - If you don't like it **** off OUR board !!!

I like the fact that Johnson has spoken out about the possibility that Evra manipulated the handshake situation. The media are scared to suggest that Evra could possibly have manufactured the whole situation, from the actual supposed abuse through to the non-handshake. Not one media outlet questioned the fact that there was no video or independent witness evidence to the alleged abuse after the verdict was released, why was that?

Imo it was because any media outlet that dared to suggest that a black man could possibly be manufacturing a racist situation is a taboo subject for them in this current climate, and would lead to accusations (like the ones that have been directed at Liverpool fans) of them condoning racism.

The whole situation is ridiculous, when has someone ever been found 'guilty' of such a serious charge with no supporting evidence of the actual offence? Any journo worth his salt should have questioned the lack of evidence with regards to the actual alleged abuse, yet none of them did, why not? It's not as if they could point to something that actually proved the FA's case, yet they were silent...that to me is either poor journalism or a case of not wanting to seek the truth for fear of upsetting the ridiculous pc climate that is prevalent in today's society!

Man Utd fans are obsessed with making Liverpool look bad. They actually make aeroplane signs at matches just to try and get Liverpool fans to make them back or sing about Munich so they can cry to the press about "them nasty scousers".

I would accept Suarez had racially abused Evra if there was any actual evidence of it happening, not just some bullshit about Evra being an impressive witness because he stated he had never had a problem with Suarez in previous games (really? is that all it takes to be classed as an impressive witness?) therefore his account is more reliable.

    I agree.

Imo the fact that the whole case was decided upon who was the most credible is a complete farce. It is clear that both players were inconsistent with their accounts of what actually happened.

But for me the fact that the whole thing was started and driven by accusations of the use of the word '******' x amount of times by Evra is THE most important issue. This accusation was found to be false, yet the case still continued, I find that baffling...the original claim was seen to be a manipulation and an exaggeration, yet the guy who made those claims was deemed to be credible...as soon as it was seen that the accuser's original testimony was basically a lie, then it should have been kicked out imo.
