I was going to suggest offering a coaching opportunity until he finds a club that wanted him as a player. Then I thought, can you imagine Fowler's reaction if we asked him to just be a coach because we were happy with our existing strike force once he saw the return they've got?
Fowler was an instinctive striker and that's not something that can be taught, I agree with you that our strikers need help though but it's encouraging that the likes of Cullen are seeing action again, Barmby does know a thing or two about strikers so that must mean he has faith in the lad.
Or he's losing faith in the alternatives so he doesn't see much difference. Although I'm looking forward to seeing him get another run out this weekend. I've only seen the spell at Blackpool and I want to see what I can see watching him in the flesh.
