did lovely jubbly have pink bed sheets? NO! but he had a crackin wine red silk robe with paisley patterns on it!!
amazing what beating your rivals does..makes you drivel the same spiel over and over again....like a sad kunt.
Yeah, I wouldn't be totally against him going to England because it'd make me interested in our internationals again but I do worry who we'd get in to replace him.
Well if you secure CL football (and I think you will) I imagine the great and good of football will be queueing up. (I'm not being Sarky by the way).
I know its all speculation but all the names being quoted for Chelski would surely also be interested in Spurs. If i was one of those big name managers I wouldn't want to go to Chelski and put up with the mad Russian! Unless its just about money of course.
They've hardly been linked with anyone worthwhile either, though. Benitez and a host of people that've already ruled themselves out.
The Chelsea job isn't the right job for an experienced coach, for the simple reason that it can ruin their reputation and subsequent employment prospects. In the case of Villas Boas, he has time to rebuild his reputation with whichever club he goes to next, plus he has an advantage of saying he was undermined by the senior members of the Chelsea squad and play that as a learning experience. An experienced coach, for example Scolari (or Capello) doesn't have the time to rebuild their reputation, along with the fact that they're expected to keep the Terrys and Lampards of the world in line so their failure to do so damages their reputation far more than it would for a Villas Boas, a Paul Lambert, or a Brendan Rogers. If they bring in Benitez, he's as screwed as the team are. The fact that Juande Ramos is seen as more employable than Benitez in the last couple of seasons doesn't speak volumes, it screams them into your face whilst holding tightly onto your ears for leverage.
Not if he's got any sense, Croydon. He could come in, play up to the egos of all the old guard for the rest of the season and then ship the lot of them out in the summer. If he could nick a top 4 place and then rebuild the side a bit, he'd be seen as progessing the team for a while, at least.
Mourinho's the best paid coach in the World, we won't get him because even if we matched his wages(which I doubt we could) we wouldn't give him the big transfer kitty he'd want to reshape the team. Hiddink's just started a new job so has Ancelotti and other top managers seem to be falling over themselves to rule out their chances of taking the Chelsea job, which is a hint to us. That leaves whoever Chelsea don't take out of Benitez, Hoddle and Sven! I'd be happy with Moyes or perhaps AVB but either one is bound to be a risk. Moreso than some of the big managers who were available at the start of the season.
He was going to get involved with Ajax but Johan Cruyff was having none of it and took it to court to make sure that Van Gaal stayed away from Ajax.

Isn't the reason everyone is falling over themselves to rule themselves out of the Chelski job cos they dont want to work under the maniac Russian!
