I don't think Nick will change formation so have chosen McLean & King on the wings with Brady coming on as sub if fit. I would like to see the following on saturday:

    Mannone
    Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dawson
    McKenna
    King Brady
    Koren
    McLean Fryatt

I don't think McLean & Fryatt are good enough as a partnership but they are the best we have at the minute

No, just can't make the squad and he has no idea why(according to his tweet last night).

Definitely McLean and Brady for me, King has pace to burn but watching him play reminds me of this:

He is way off the pace, IMHO, and there is now no time for him to be given a chance in the first team to get upto pace.

Between now ant the end of the season we need everyone firing on all cylinders.

Brady was back in training today and pestering the training staff about a start on Saturday(from Nick's press conference).

    No other injury concerns.

100% he has to drop Stewart, hopefully for the rest of the season! Brady has come a long way since his discipline problems and has to start. I've voted for King to start on the other side, I'm not sure why, but at least when he gets the ball he tries to take people on, one of these days he might actually get passed someone whilst having the ball under control.

I was hoping he'd make a bit more of an impact when he came back. We were always going to be left with more wingers than we can use but he was a useful player for us right up to when he got the injury at the end of last season. We could do with a 'traditional' winger in the team at some point. None of our other wingers play as proper wingers, by that I mean getting to the byline and getting crosses in.

There's not much point of them putting the ball in the box when we have 2 players being marked by 4 or 5. When they get to the byline they might as well just kick it into touch.

I thought King looked better at Blackpool when he came on on the right side. I'm not sure which is his natural foot but by the way he seems to always come back inside when he's playing on the left I would assume it's his right. He seems to run into trouble everytime he comes back inside, a bit like Stewart, although he did get down the line a couple of times and got a shot in coming inside the other night.

Watching Barcelona last night, they played this formation with Messi and Iniesta playing in the wide positions. Not exactly classic wingers, but they cut inside to support the striker, allowing the full backs to bomb on.

Now I like wingers, but to mix it up why not try Koren in one of those wide roles. He might find more space there get some freedom to roam, cut in to shoot or support the striker.

You could try big oli in Korens central role, where the fact he's a pussy wont be as much of a problem and the fact he can actually pick a pass could be a major asset. Or try Brady or Stewart in the central role where they can run at the heart of the defence. Brady has already played there and Stewart looked good when he played up front.

Maybe the formation is fine, I'd just like to see a bit of variation because we are so predictable at the moment.
