That's right we have a game on Saturday, the derby is now in the past. A big crowd is expected and im expecting a big performance. Liverpool are the one 'big' clubs that I really don't think we should fear at all. I've watched them alto this far and have always been underwhelmed, especially when they are missing Gerrard. Id like to see us go 442 with Campbell and Bendtner up top, same back 5 with colback coming in for catts. We should target Glenn Johnson as much as possible and thus get the ball out to jimmy mac as much as possible. If available; ..............................Mignolet............................. Bardsley.......oshea..........turner......Richardson Larsson.......Gardner.....colback..........McClean ....................Campbell....Bendtner.................... 2-0. Haway the lads!!!
I'd for that mate, or he might favour the 4-5-1 with maybe bridge at left back and ricco in the hole.
Agree Parker, they have looked poor every time I've seen them, even when they have won. If we can keep it tight for the first 15, we could hit them on the break. A lot depends on how Suarez' diving performance goes, how well he can fool the ref.
I have to say I'm really looking forward to the game, how good does that sound, looking forward to my football again.
You & me both Syd. I've been stuck in airports & railway stations for a week of poor or no connection just wanting to watch some uninterupted footie for 10min. Roll on the weekend when I can see the Pool game
Well we have got 1 point out of the last 9 in the league. So I hope we can better that: 4/12 is an improvement, other wise I will begin to think we are on the usual end of season bad run. Pool will not be easy, they should have won against the Arsenal but could not put the ball in the net. Not sure if Caroline will be playing, Surez is very good at diving and I think"Stevie G" is a good player. Good to see Hendo, hope he does a Chopra if need be! Well we will be without our best player all season, Sess! and of course the 'I am playing well but will be stupid from time to time and pick up yellow/reds' Mr Clatterhard. I still cannot make my mind up whether he is an asset or a liablity. Rico may also be injured? So the team will have a couple of new faces, if MoN favours his usual 4-5-1, we are likely to have 'I scored the penalty, but have the mobility of a built-in wardrobe' Bendtner up front replaced in the 2nd half by Campbell. With the likes of Frankie Vaughan, Meyler and Bridges coming in. May I ask where are the 'potential' players Ji and Wickham?
Big crowd expected. What like 30,000. Is it girio week so soon. Get at Liverpool they are pap really n u can laugh at hendersons square balls n never taking responsibility n doin summit positive. 20 Million, he makes Craig Gordon look like a bargain
Play Bridge. McClean needs to be rested. Poor the last 3/4 games for me. Not a Ricco fan but would move him to LW and have Campbell/Bendner strike force. BUT, I think MON will go 1 up top (Bendner) put Campbell on the left and leave Ricco LB. Maybe give the greek a go against his former side as "should" be up for it if O'Shea is struggling. Forgot about Catts. Meyler a ready replacement for me. But he will play the ever predictable Colback.
Ricco injured (I believe) Bardo, Oshea, Turner, Bridge Larsson, Vaughan, Colback, Mclean Gardner Campbell or 4-4-2 with Bendtner up front with Campbell and Vaughan on the bench or 4-5-1 with Colback at LB, Vaughan, Meyler and Gardner in the middle and Campbell/Bendtner upfront or at least 2 more combinations I would be happy with. I'm loving our squad depth and quality at the moment. Would have been ****ting myself last year if Sess, Catts and Ricco were all out (not to mention Brown/Bramble).
As an Toffee, it's win/win for me if either side wins. Liverpool win: you go into the cup game with 1 point from 12 If Sunderland win: The deluded Bastards can **** off Think I'd rather Sunderland win though... You know how it is.
Don't think it'll be easy Dribbling... O'Neill has done a belting job up there and I expect a very difficult game!
Mignolet Bardsley - O'Shea - Turner - Bridge Campbell - Larsson - Gardner - Vaughan - McClean Bendtner With both Campbell and McClean being asked to really push on for a 433 attacking formation at times. Their pace should frighten their defence.
