Good morning all, clear blue skies here in bandit country. Good result last night, we all would have taken the draw before the match but was gutted that they got the late equalizer. Never mind, I guess we can call it a point gained rather than 2 points dropped. I listened to the first half on the radio and then went to the gym. Got a few funny looks when I checked the scores to see we were 1-0 up and shouted 'YESSSSSSSS!!! Followed by 'GET IN!!!''.

Good Moaning all, a decent start to the day here. Very happy with the point last night, to me it counts as a bonus one. Hammers fans are saying that our tactics were better than those of Carduff, but are they happy? No, some left at half time after spending £69 for their seat. Some people are strange, I would want every moment for that layout.

Morning everyone, what a difference a day makes, nice bright start no drizzle - good result at WH shame they could not hold on for all 3 points, but still a great result.

Picked my son up at Heathrow, pleased to say he had his Taxi fare (A nice bottle of Pastis 51) which I will enjoy over the coming weeks. :emoticon-0110-tongu

Talking of drinks - Thanks for the coffee Ak

Most certainly Theo - Roll on the summer evenings - in the mean time I'll have to make do with an aperitif (or two) indoors waiting for the sun to come out

Afternoon all. The sun is out here and its a lovely mild day. Its a day of assignments for me which will be mind numbingly boring. However it has to be done. At least i have the house to myself.

I did indeed Charlie. I did my research via the internet and settled for a particular model. Having seen the said model working and checking out the sound quality which seemed fine, I was quite happy to buy it. Then Mme. says that there is a similar one but larger and for an extra €30 it seems like a good buy. As ever trying to be accommodating I agree, so we bring the larger one home.

I have spent some time this morning reorganizing the house to fit it in. Of course things don't end there. A new unit for it to sit on had to be bought and assembled. Now I have to take the old one off it's stand and find a home for it. As you can imagine being as old as it is,lightness and bulk were not high on the list of design criteria.

Almost time to hit the road, (naughty road)<laugh> Out the house by 0830, a slow drive over the other side of Gloucester for Mrs PSH to get a jab(injection not punch) at Imjin Barracks(previously RAF Innsworth) Then off to Tescos for a lazy fat boy breakfast;) Before heading out Mrs PSH decided to do a bit of packing only to find out she had not packed any bra or knickers<yikes><laugh> I thought get in;) So before she got her haircut we went to M&S to but her some underwear:(, I checked out the Euro rates, whilst she was getting her hair cut, some good bargains out there especially if you say it is a better deal up the road, they are all trying to outdo each other. Managed to get some Euros for 1.17 to the £;) So now she is having a quick snooze, (she is an old lady) before we set off just after 3pm. Hopefully all set for the off, if I have not got it now I will have to get it there;)

I see that Gus Poyet has been speaking his mind.

Gus Poyet has insisted clubs who go into administration should be relegated.

The Brighton boss believes teams like Pompey are ‘cheating’ by overspending and then calling in administrators.

Poyet said: ‘I’ve got a clear view of that and I’m not talking about Portsmouth exclusively.

‘I would be more severe with any club, because it is people that, right or wrong, are cheating the competition.

‘They try to spend what they don’t have to see if they can get up, and if they don’t they go into administration.

‘It shouldn’t be like that. For me categorically I would like the teams that get into that down, not ten points, down.

‘Then we will see how the teams are going to react and who is going to take responsibility.

‘That is the other point. Somebody needs to be responsible.’

He has a point, but should the fans suffer for something that they have no say in, the running of their club?

If I'm honest, I do agree with him, but then I guess it depends on why the club has gone into administration. If it is simply because they have paid far too much on players and ganbled on getting promotion, then most certainly they should have an automatic relegation. I know it would be harsh on the fans, but they'd happily take the promotion with the gamble as well. I do think the owners also need more culpability. If they are in charge of a club that goes into administration, then think they should have a punishment as well - not allowed to be a director of another football club, something like that!

It maybe harsh on fans... but it's certainly harsher on the local small businesses because someone has decided that they will pay ridiculous sums on the hope of a future possibility!

i know...disgraceful. i'd love to know if Leeds fans are paying the same mad prices as we're being charged for that game.

    <laugh>

Yes, have a great time Al, hurry back :)

That sounds like common sense to me Kev...yes harsh, but as you say, the fans would take the promotion too...

Assembled a new raised bed, went to buy topsoil at the garden centre, filled raised bed with soil and compost...now my back is telling me to sit down with a cup of tea and a cheesecake muffin. Tomorrow morning it will be telling me it's a long time since I was 21 :emoticon-0141-whew:
