Bloody hell, Liverpool. Why can the players/ club just get over it, it's not helping matters going on about it.
I siad on the say it all worked out perfect for Evra when you look at the way he behaved at the end. Suarez got ****er served, they are both volatile and Evra basically done him, in the hearing and when Suarez was stupid enough not to be the bigger man, actually shaking Evra's hand might have pissed Evra off in a strange way, in the end Paddy got what he wanted
We have all watched it and Johnson's views is as good as ours. We have apologised. What's the point of discussing this terrible episode again?
Not being funny mate, but if you don't have anything to contribute to the thread then don't post on here. It might p1ss you off but others may still want to talk about it, in light of the NEW interview from Johnson.
If the hacks were reading this thread they'd be rubbing their hands with glee, because they've got a result yet again.. The whole issue is dying a bit so they fan the flames to get a bit more out of it and shift more units. Don't bite.
In America some innocent people have been excecuted..and many years after their death the truth comes out. Also in Britain some innocent people served terms for what they do not know anything about, and when the truth comes out they are released and compensated. I am not saying this is in the case of Suarez, but otherwise if it is in the case of Evra..his sin is going to find him out.<
A good article and TBH it's not really about the handshake, I found his opinion on the whole incident very interesting and his assessment of Suarez's character in general re-affirms my belief that he is a well-intentioned bloke
Well said Glen Johnson. Paul McGrath the wife beating alco that played for united has some neck telling people whats right and wrong, hes that thick he does'nt even know that what he said was actually racist.
Add to that the comments by the Rugby player where he calls Johno 'Uncle Tom' now if that's not a racist and derogatory statement, I don't know what is!
Love Glens reply to him. "I don't even know who this geezer is, he shoud just stick to playing rugby"
What do we gain from any football debate? It's not as if we can change the past or predict the future?
Think you've made your point, mate. If others want to discuss it further then surely that's their right?
Sure. It is our right to discuss this. Just let me tell you all that at the time I was embarrassed by Suarez and I hate to say this I was embarrassed by Dalglish too when he wore the T-shirt. He was misguided in this and as a black Liverpool fan I just wished the whole episode will go away. I just cannot condone Suarez actions so hopefully that will explain to you where I am coming from.
