£££££££ v real work? Don't mind the Stranglers but they weren't really punk. Too old and too musical.
I never really equated The Stranglers to the punk movement. They just happened to be a band around at the time and tagged along. Some good songs, but defo not punk.
Another Grand Funk fan Igor? Little known fact is Led Zeppelin's first tour of America was as GFR's support act! Needless to say the Zepp's blew them away. I'm glad to say that it is not just me then....... I was concerned that this thread would be left to gather moss, but clearly not. I guess the fact that many of us appear to be about the same age helps, we do seem to share many of the same influences from our respective youths.
