    Fulham fan in peace.

Just wondered how our boys Rodney and Kacaniklic are getting on? Both are highly regarded by us.

Rodney has played in one game, and then got dropped to the bench.

Kacaniklic can stay :) he started a bit slowly, but he's becoming a valued member of the squad.

Trotta hasn't really got going yet. He played for a fair amount against Southampton, but he didn't really do much in the game. Admittedly......it was against the league leaders and his first game.....but he just seemed off the pace....or not the same hard worker that most of our players are. Scoring wise, he's not really had a chance. Maybe he'll get some appearances in the next 3 or 4 games.....

Kacaniklic is another story. He is a valuable member of the first team. He can run at players, and beat them, he puts in good crosses, he has an eye for goal.....I think without him we would find it A LOT harder to create chances. Especially on the counter attack.....if anyone is going to make it happen, then he will.

Dont listen to them. Both are shocking, you would not want either of them back!!! You should just cut your losses and give them to us for free. :D

Nah, Kacaniklic is amazing! He single handedly changed the game against Burnley. When he came on he ran rings around their defence and even scored our equaliser.

I would like to see more of Rodney before i pass a comment, but he was not worse than Chris Iwelumo, so thats a start.

By all accounts Dan, CI had his best game for the Hornets tonight :)

I believe you. He is a poor mans Torres- he dont score many, but he works his arse off and will create space and win balls.

Yeah, and Nathan Ellington's announced he's giving up pies!!!!

Only kidding, I hope he does get a couple before the end of the season. SD is picking him for a reason and we've had some good team performances with him on the pitch <ok>.

Sounds as if Kacaniklic is doing well. Do you Watford fans think he might be ready to step up to our (Fulham's) first team next season?

i think he would need another season with us ;)....

honestly? He might need another loan first, but he'll be one for your future, definitely. I know Fulham fans rate Trotta too, we're yet to see why though, seems a shame, as we were very excited about him joining us...i guess he's just not ready for Championship football yet...

Kacaniklic could probably play a part for Fulham next season....though you have quite a lot of other players so I don't know if he has a place in your team.

Surprised that Trotta went to Watford when I thought Dalla Valle would have been a better fit for them,
as he and Kacaniklic are used to playing more together.
But not sure of rules about Loans as Dalla Valle has already been at Dundee United this season.
Wanted to see Trotta to go to someone like Reading or Blackpool.
Trotta definitely needs to play week in week out to see if he can progress and come into our
    first team next season.

Good to hear Kacaniklic has started to settle in, and started to play well.

And Trotta was at Wycombe - why would the rules stop LDV going on loan to someone else but not Trotta?

The rules are you can only play for 2 clubs in a season, but this doesn't include 'emergency' loans... so if Trotta played for Wycombe and you (was it a cup game?) then it had to be an emergency loan to come to us

I think Trotta's loan was, technically, an emergency one. In which case, Super Brian was right. Cheers SalisburyKev; sorry SuperBrian!

There's no technically in it. Wycombe having a quality player for too long could cause the world to turn on its head. We had to do something!

    Talking of Fulham...

Carlos Salcido has left Fulham after a robbery at his London home put the wind up him.

Heading back to Mexico because of crime concerns in London ??

    Oh the irony.

Sounds about as logical as relocating to Homs because of human rights concerns in Hertfordshire.

Not all Mexico is dangerous Mr NNW, in fact in many aspects I rate it better than England. Don't get me wrong, I have love for England but right now there is nothing too great about Britain.
