**** me some of these comments on the BBC live text are plain idiotic: "Michael via text: "As great as Leo Messi, I want to see him play at a different club outside of his comfort zone! At a club where the team and everything is not set up perfect for him! Great player but no Zidane!" JB via text: "I keep saying this but no one believes me that Messi as good as he is, is overrated. He does so well with a whole team behind him supplying him to do well. Never have I seen Messi on a poor team bringing them up and spurring them on to victory as Zidane, Gerrard and others have done in the past. Take Messi out of Barcelona and he would still be great. But people would see why CR7 is better as an individual." Daniel Culley on Twitter: "Messi, great, but that was a woeful performance by a terrified looking Leverkusen team. Ronaldo would have scored 10!" This ones a cracker Kev via text: "Messi is ok but could he do it for Stenhousemuir on a rainy Tuesday with his bootlaces tied together? I'm not so sure."
Would Messi do it for Rangers newco on a freezing Scottish night in a loch against Queens Park with a sea monster wrapped around his cock and balls? I'm not so sure.
Never looked into it until tonight but a quick read of wikipedia reveals: "For 2011, Barcelona's gross debt stands at around â¬483m". They should probably rename it FC Santander.
aye they got their baws so deep in debt it would make Tinas cavernous minge seem positively tight and unstreched when goin in baws deep
Messi is currently the best player on the planet, by some way. If he can play for another 5/6 yrs at a similar level then he might well eclipse Pele/Maradonna/Cruyff.I can't remember watching a more entertaining club team than Barca, enjoy it whilst it lasts, because teams like this only come together once in a lifetime.
I once tried this out on FIFA, and it's true, Messi didn't score. Xavi did, three times, but that's by the by.
I watched the game last night and Messi was on fire, the first lob was good but the lob for the third goal was much better. He has great pace and the way he just pushes the ball ahead of him when running is spellbinding. Mind, the german defending last night WAS ****e, it reminded me of my own team of late
