weird - watford a team we brushed aside away a couple of weeks ago and hammers struggle at home. great result
Well, tonight has been pretty good. Hope Jason Scotland stubs his toe on the cat, that would make a perfect evening!
West Ham have games with Doncaster (H), Leeds (A), Middlesbrough (H), Burnley (A), Peterborough (A) and Reading (H) before the end of the month.
Yeah, but they also beat Doncaster, Leicester, and battered Blackpool - three things we have failed to do. Doesn't mean a jot. Happy with the result, though. Though not exactly sure why, as previously I was happy for them to run away with it, and concentrate on Reading. However, due to Reading's form, we can no longer rely on claiming second.
let's calm down with the calling of us shower of ..., we just aren't that good. by the by 4-0 was when our team was worse than the worst in the league (no gelling, clueless manager etc.). the 3-0 was when we had murray and hodson out. fair enough we were sh** when we played you but don't look down at us, this is the championship-nothing's set in stone until the final whistle. anyways good luck with rest of season (will be eating a hell of a lot of humble pie if you lot don't go up)
Why is everyone taking so much significance from the fact they drew with Watford? It's practically a derby. Form disappears. Apart from being a great result for us, why is it any more significant than us drawing vs Ipswich? All we're effectively admitting is that any of us can slip up against anyone, and no game is a banker.
Luckily I didn't know West Ham were losing, so it was a nice surprise to see they'd only drawn. Perhaps Saints fans should stop panicking when everything doesn't go our way...there will be plenty of twists and turns (as Sir Nigel keeps telling us).
Actually makes me more gutted we didn't win last night, which would have restored the previous order, where their game in hand couldn't take them above us.

i can safely speak for every watford fan in that it's nowhere near a derby. they have theirs (millwall) and we have ours (luton). both are scum. nothing more nothing less. by the way when you lot were at watford you were chanting "who the f*** is laughing now?" might sound fairly self-explanatory but why because I can't remember us laughing.
