Morning all. There is a lot of fine drizzle here, but its not dampening my spirits. I have my new tablet and I love it!! today is all about getting more of my assignments written before training this evening.
Morning all, horrid weather outside, and thankfully a fairly quiet morning out there too. I'm sure it'll be crazy at school pick up time though, always is when it's raining, very frustrating for my learners! Thanks for the caramel latte Ak, i needed that this morning Aw, lovely... Good ol' Dad, has he been there long? Who has a barbecue in the winter? lol...enjoy Sandy! That's what ours was like...and black and white of course. My next door neighbour got a colour telly when i was little, and allowed me and my bro to go in on Mondays and Thursdays to watch Blue Peter in colour...highlight of the week, that was, not only because Blue Peter was in colour, but because there was always chocolate on the table...good times! We have 8 now! lol...though 4 of them will be defunct in April unless we get our act together! (there's only 5 of us so i'm not sure how we managed to need 8 tvs!) I'm beginning to worry about you Al, you tidy a lot lol...i was wondering the same about my car, which i had cleaned on Thursday, just before the rain...(and before my star pupil's lesson ) you have to beat them! That's an order! lol
Fast of Esther indeed. I was surviving quite happily until a colleague appeared with a box of samosas for his birthday, the smell is unwelcome and I am told they are kosher!
He should have tried one, if they are the ones with the prune filling it shouldn't take him long to find out. As for my Son Hornette, he is a carpenter who builds sets for exhibitions etc. He has been in Basel for the last 3 weeks build one for Guess & Nautica Watches (They have a largest exhibition in the world there each year. He will be back for a week then he returns to take it down which will take a week, he is then off to Barcelona in 3 weeks time. It's good money (not that we we see much of it tells his Mum that there is no need for him to pay housekeeping as he is not there to eat anything - Cheeky little sod) but it's hard work & long hours. Our Daughter lives in Zurich and has done for 10 years (she is a Purser on Swiss Airlines)
mm, i do love humantaschen, with or without prunes! lol Oh excellent! It's fantastic to have a trade, and he's obviously highly thought of ...you must be proud of both of them, they seem to have turned out ok
just finished my bbq lunch and I am well stuffed. I managed double helpings of burgers and sausages cooked on our new 'Grillstream' barbecues. Good job it's a gym night tonight as we've also got deserts (cakes or donuts) to finish off
i'm jealous! i'm tucking into yet another chicken salad! lol...though i've done my exercise for the day
H, it's not as if I make a mess but I just want the place to be extra tidy for her return Mind you she is only here for one night before we go to Manchester tomorrow afternoon prior to our holiday !
