Arsene Wenger - countless annihilations of Wenger's Arsenal sides down the years.

Kevin Keegan - the famous rant that led to Newcastle surrendering the title.

Rafa Benitez - the hilarious rant and pathetic paranoia from Rafa the Jaffa.

    Rafa.

The Rafa who joined Liverpool was a proud man, a man with high standards and class......(sort of )

The Rafa of today is much like the people who wear tin hats and have sex with their pets ( Welsh )

    Nice one UIR!

Although - I really respect the man for what he has done for the people of Liverpool since leaving, with regards to fundraising etc. A true gent.

    Benitez.

Keegan's outburst was pretty embarrassing, but then it was a spontaneous reaction to a comment, and pretty much in line with Keegan's honesty. But the Benitez one was a planned and prepared thing that he'd actually spent effort researching and writing down and not once stopped to think "hang on, this is going to make me look like an absolute cock". Keegan and Wenger have also managed to maintain some degree of competence and credibility after their run ins with SAF, whilst Benitez went on to pretty much destroy Liverpool and Inter in successive seasons.

I think the owners at the time are to blame, more than Benitez. Although, towards the end Rafa did make some big mistakes and clearly the fans weren't happy with his 'rotation' policy along with some pretty dire transfers.

But saying Benitez destroyed Liverpool is a bit flippant Mrs Bazray <ok>

Rant, he tried something and it didn't come off, mind games are not his forte, I seriously doubt he felt even remotely humiliated.. why the fk would he, water offa ducks back, you lot like to imagine he was humiliated but... ermm... wel... no not so imo, but whatever image makes you lot happy somehow strangely becomes the truth, bit like the news papers you slag off so much actually.

Manager felt most humiliated was Jose when Fergie took the title back, no one hates losing more than those two

And for those a little simple, Keegan humiliated himself, Fergie didnt humiliate him

It was Benitez who effectively forced Alonso out by trying to use him as a makeweight for Barry (BARRY for Christ's sake <laugh>). The owners did have an impact, but the only thing that really changed between 2nd place in 2009 and 7th in 2010 was that Benitez sold Alonso and Arbeloa and replaced them with Aquilani and Johnson - same price but half the players in important positions. The owners only really became an issue after you'd dropped out of the CL thanks to that pair of clangers.

Alonso for Barry is absolutely nuts! Bit like getting rid of Gerrard and replacing him with Fletcher....

A lot is often mentioned about Benitez and his bad signings, people tend to focus on the negatives. He did bring in some excellent players during his time -

    Torres
    Alonso
    Garcia
    Reina
    Agger
    Kuyt
    Lucas
    Mascharano
    Skrtel

    To name a few.

    Gotta be Wenger,surely?

The amount of times Wenger and his Arsenal side attempted to derail United only to fail is insurmountable.

The fact that wenger won the title at old trafford right in front of fergie would support your claim

That was a great season for us. The scousers were going to win the title when their manager shot himself in the foot. After his rant his team went on the slide and lost he title. I really enjoyed that season, remembering how miserable the scousers were. Wonderful memories....<laugh>
