Anyone else think the nose looks a bit stunted? It's almost as if it's come back from the front impact test and they've just bolted it on. As a first impression, I think the back of the 'coke bottle' seems tidier than on the MR01, so maybe they can do more with the air flow there. Not a fan of the orange branding on the inside of the rear wing, it just looks out of place with the rest of the livery, which looks fairly decent. Rear wing looks a tad more basic than most others I've seen, although the 'grill' on the sides (as far as I can remember) is unique.
Definitely. I guess it may be temporary but the driver looks quite far forward. Maybe they've come up with something mind-blowing.
All the people who we accused of invoking the 2am rule in the best-looking car thread might actually have been vindicated. The stepped nose actually doesn't look too bad and I LOVE the colour scheme, even if it will look better with a few more sponsors on it.
I wonder if the racing would be any more exciting if that was as complex as the aerodynamics were allowed to be?
Two points: I think this is pretty easy on the eye and I like the nose-job's gentle decent. It's far more elegant than the ironing boards some have stuck on the front. The livery is also rather tastefully done. So, in terms of looks, she sure ain't Westy's 2am 'last resort'… Genji has commented on the cockpit being quite well forward. I agree. Once again, I expect HRT to avoid the booby-prize of last place.
Well done HRT, that's a pretty nice car. Shame it's going to be dreadfully slow, hopefully they beat Marussia though.
Looks nice but a bit basic. It would of been nice to see some progress from them but I guess they just want to be on the grid for the first race.
It's been around the track at least, and I quite like the look of it myself (compared to some of the others), hopefully it'll beat the Marussia, and maybe next year they'll actually get it to a test, it was pretty close this time, only a day late.
Has anyone seen the video of this car being tested on the BBC Sport website? Is it just me, or does the engine note sound quite different to the other cars on the grid?
