Who would buy the club with the big tax case looming? The investigations by all and sundry?

Liquidation and a newco would suit BK though.

Basically, it boils down to two options:

    - someone buys the club

    - severe cut backs to the squad

If neither of those things happen in the next few days then Rangers will be unable to fulfill their fixtures for the rest of the season.

And considering there is the little matter of a potential £50m HMRC bill coming their way who is going to be mad enough to buy the club?

:emoticon-0100-smile One would think Mr King had more to concern himself about than Rangers. It seems that playing loose with HMRC money and tax due to other jurisdictions has been a common trait amongst the Rangers elite 'wealthy' backers. Their activities are now obviously somewhat at odds with their fans, many of whom have been extremely vocal over the years in professing their 'loyalty' to the crown.....

The admins have just confirmed that there will be no European football for Rangers next season.

    File under 'stating the obvious'.

No, it doesn't. It simply means that if they don't get a buyer in the next few days, the first team squad is for the chop and the under-19s will see out the season.

Since taking over they've underestimated everything. Go back to the first press conference and they were claiming there was a very good chance that the club would be out of administration by the end of March. These ****s are about as reliable as Craig Whyte.

It's been drip drip then we had Kings liquidation statement today then the latest.

It will be curtains and a newco.

Bears will claim it's the same club but deep in their hearts they will know the truth.
