we got a draw with United with no Lamps Drog Cole terry.

    United have won plenty of matches without top players;

Spurs are a good side but really good sides can juggle the demands of the P.L and Europe and can cope with injuries.

For me, Spurs have a very good team when all fit but lack depth and have been pretty forunate with injuries this year. Couple that with their throwing away of the Europa League and it's not hard to see why they have fared well this season in the league. They struggled at the end of last season having actually tried in Europe and I expect the same next year if they qualify again.

By and large, United, Arsenal and Chelsea have performed well in both domestic and european competitions for years. Spurs still have a long way to go.

They are not a one man team at all (certainly less so than Liverpool and Arsenal) but aren't as laced with talent as they think they are.

We've got the 6th most money in the PL so we are doing very well to even be challenging for a CL place. If we do hold onto it we've got a chance of building on that and displacing Arsenal or Chelsea for a good while

No chance until you get a new stadium. Your turnover is tiny compared to the big boys.

Then you can maybe compete with the big 5 on both fronts, in the same season, repeatedly like Chelsea and Arsenal do.

Modric is a goner to Manchester once Harry leaves.

Heard it all before. We had no chance of keeping Modric last summer, we'd never get in the CL again after finishig 5th last season, 'Arry's getting sent down. All great predictions but 2 have already been proven wrong :)

    Fair enough YV.

But juggling top 4 and CL every season is a level up from what you've achieved so far.

And City/United will go after Modric again.#

You still aren't in CL again yet. Long way to go but have been very good so far.

A couple more injuries and you will struggle. If you don't get CL this year you will miss the boat bigtime cos Roman will spend Big this summer

Modric didn't fancy Manchester last summer so I'm not convinced there's any certainty he leaves if we get 3rd/4th.

I said only two had be proven wrong and I know top 4 isn't certain but we're in a much better position than you and Arsenal in terms of points and remaining games. As a Spurs fan I know it would be stupid to get too cocky about it at this point but the same applies to all those who wrote us off at the start of the season.

Chelsea might well spend big but unless your older players either leave or accept not being first choice, some of your biggest problems will remain.

we are competing with and surpassing the self proclaimed big boys already ..so anothe pointless post from a pointless poster...here have your daily <doh>

if you expect every other fan to put their own team down and big up your shambles of a club just because you think you are some PL hierachy then you have got a serious problem...

and i think you should worry about keeping a manager for once instead of other teams players<ok>

wow you tried to have a decent debate with an idiot..yes mods he is an idiot<ok>

as for getting cocky..just because we are happy about our teams progress does not make us cocky Yid..its just that the old sky 4 dont like anybody else trying to suceed....actually if there is one set of fans that should be arrogant it is the United fans but they are the best of all the old top 4 teams.

He's alright. He hates Spurs and likes to WUM at times but in fairness you can chuck it back and he doesn't mind.

By getting cocky I meant by making statements like "Chelsea will never catch us" or "we're gaurunteed 4th". Of course we're allowed to be pleased at our current position.

Roberto has made a point - out go Lampard, Cole, Terry, Dogsbreath, Essien.

Don't mess with me or else is the message.
