    my prediction for tonight is:

a game that will go against the grain of things.

We have the best defence in the league versus a very all attack team, team that scores as well as concedes a lot.

In theory this is how the game should pan out.

We don't start well, Leeds will be all over us from the start. We will concede one early because we didn't get out the traps quickly enough. We'll struggle until half time to regain control. With a good 5/10 mins before the half with a header on the bar. Half time comes and we start relatively well for ten minutes, only for them to get us on the counter and go 0-2 up. We huff and puff, maybe get a goal back but that's it.

But this is Leeds. Just look at our last few games against them, with tom cairney's flukey goal, one in a million free kick from bostock, the 4-1 scoreline that was very generous... these games didn't go as planned.

Tonight's could be anything. a 3-2 thriller with a last minute pen for fryatt to bury.
it could be 1-4 to leeds again, when they want to, they can really score.

    My heart says 2-2
    My mind says 1-3

This game has young Atwells influence being key. Colin will know this so I expect a lot of kamikaze runs towards our goal with theatrical dives and histrionics as they near the box. Atwell could go either way with that and favour us so we face a petulant WS in an honest game or favour them, waking the tiger in the stands up.

Lets just hope we get the chance to give this an airing. It's almost tailor made for tonight's visitors.

Also, the last 4 times we've met there has been a goal direct from a free kick.

If that run is going to continue tonight there's hardly any chance it'd be us (do we even have a free kick taker?) and every chance it'd be Snodgrass. My biggest concern is that Leeds will get the better of the ref and score from a free kick or something. We really have to be wise against these buggers.

Personally I think we will get battered tonight and finally put to bed the hope that we might scrape the play-offs.

    3-1 Leeds

I really don't get all this being scared of free scoring teams, we just played Blackpool who score a shed load who only managed to break us down with a magnificent strike. Birmingham score ****loads but couldnt score against us at their place and only managed one at ours. Cardiff were doing well when we played them they only managed the one which was the best wondergoal I've seen in any game or highlights ive watched all season. Reading can also score when they want and guess what, they couldn't manage a goal against us in either game. We have no reason to fear Leeds at all, or any team that can score plenty for that matter, we are VERY resilient at the back and every team in this league has found it difficult to score against us this season, Leeds will most probably come at us quite open and attacking so we should be relishing the chance to break forwards and hit them hard and bag a few, almost every other team just parks the bus against us, Leeds should be a golden opportunity to play how we can! Believe lads!

I agree with this, we are way too pessimistic at times. We're playing a team below us (despite having played more games) at home. But it's just the fact its Leeds that worries people I think (that's what worries me anyway) this kind of game just seems likely to favour Leeds' all action, 'get stuck in' approach and our ability to build attacks will suffer. Let's face it we don't score quick goals on the counter very much, we tend to string 50 passes together and eventually find Koren or Fryatt (when we do actually score that is). I don't see them giving us the time on the ball we need.

I have a very bad feeling about tonight. Just can't see Colin losing two on the bounce this early on in his tenure at Leeds.

Heart says we scrape a draw, head says a bit of a mullering.

3-1 to Leeds is also my predicted scoreline.
