The Tiny Tots are tottering; no Bale, Harry so they are swamping the board. Ar52nal fans have more class
You said this before..... AVB spoke perfect English and has an extremely good vocab. What is the problem with a foreign manager?
Nothing, the thing that is annoying me is that Roman won't even consider a British/English manager,it just seems a bit harsh as there are plenty of good english managers in l1 and the championship that could easily do a great job at a big club like Chelsea. Rafa Benitez?Please...he was sh1t in the EPL he won the FA Cup because of Gerrard and apart from that he won nothing in england,he won the champions league which he,still to this day has no idea how he did it... The only good foreigner manager out there is the special one, apart from him there is no one.If you can't get him,get an English/British one.
shlurp that bit of brown off your nose...the day you start evaluating class will be the day i worry ...more class
I've said it before and I'll say it again, there are other people in the boardroom for gods sake. Ever heard of Bruce Buck and Ron Gourlay? Muppets
How do you know they'd do a great job?? Jose the only good foreign manager??? Please. Fact is, Roman has a histor5y of appointing managers who have actually achieved things, particularly in Europe. Jose, AVB, Scolari (world cup winner), Ancelotti and Hiddink have all won big trophies. Lets look at what the English managers currently managing have won recently..... errrr..... still thinking.... Oh yeah, the brilliant media loved legend that is the next England manager 'Arry Redknapp has won a solitary FA cup in about 20 years. Rafa Benitez as much as I don't like him has been to multiple C.L finals and won titles in Spain when not managing Barca or Madrid. Sir you are clueless.
AVB was a massive flop, that's a fact. Scolari, the poor bloke didn't know where he was must of the time,he never understood the english game and was poor at speaking english. Grant was the 2nd best manager to manage Chelsea since Mourinho left. Hiddink is a good manager. Ancelotti's regime went downhill after Wilkins left. Rafa... English managers have never been given a chance...Arsenal have had wenger there for 15 years and Liverpool have only had foreign managers since they've been in the prem, that's why they've never won it...the only english manager they had was Woy Hodgson, and he was never given a good run at the team.
Look, the fact if the matter is this: Ranieri - Won nothing after Chelsea with Valencia, Parma, Juventus, Roma Mourinho - 2 Serie A titles, Supercoppa Italiana, Coppa italia, Champions League at Inter; Copa Del Rey at Real Madrid Grant - Won nothing at Portsmouth, West Ham, FK Partizan Scolari - Won nothing at Bunyodkor (Bunyodko? really??) now at Palmeiras Hiddink - Failed to qualify for Euro 2012 with Turkey, now at Anzhi Makhachkala (first proper club job in 6 years) Ancelotti - Now at PSG with tons of cash, will have to wait and see Not to say any of them aren't good managers but quite clearly Mourinho is a winner.
what about what they won before they got the chelsea job and got a massive dose of low confidence affliction? i dont think life works that way coolhand.
listen you thik basterd im having a conversation..you cant pretend we are all your ex girlfriend who left you for some ugly kunt..get over it..prik
true say drogs..but if we always looked at their wage then we may aswell stop discussing football as i dont think they feel what we feel when our respective clubs are afflicted..even people who we claim love our club..really..i dont think they do as much as the average fan.....my point was it is swings and roundabouts you cant just try to justify the sackings by saying...'oh they have won nothing since they left'..because they won a hell of a lot before they joined..including a world cup winning manager thrown in there to boot...just my opinion.
and thats why its a poisoned chalice coolhand...will be intresting to see the thinking of the chairman behind the next management group..i doubt the reasoning will be something new and unheard of.
