Southampton V Ipswich (Tuesday 6th March, 7.45pm) Match Thread

I only don't bother cross-bording the threads because barely any of the clubs boards for our league are used. I'd say: keep this one on our board for now, as the other one below that isn't a sticky, created by a town fan, is cross-boarded. Use that one for 'banter'.

 

I don't think we will keep a clean sheet in this one. Chopra is in goal scoring form. But so is Lambert. Really not sure how this one is going to go but its a must win as Reading have a guaranteed win against Portsmouth. This is certainly getting tense now!

 

I fancy 3-1 Saints. Chaplow opening the scoring, and Chopra with an equalizer. Sharp and Lallana to ensure this match is added to our unbeaten run.

 

They're heavy favourites of course, but no match in the Championship is guaranteed. Don't forget how Bristol City done the double on us within a month. And Doncaster are half way to doing the same.

Just thought I'd point out that we've won our last 3 against Ipswich and not lost in 5 games. We are 13-2-2 at home, Ipswich 5-2-9 away. I'll be very disappointed not to win this game.

 

I think we'll win 3-1 , Lambert 2 and Hooiveld ( come on, it's a tuesday evening game ).

I was thinking that , keeping in mind Davis's below par performance at the weekend and thought, we haven't had 3-1 in a while so i'll go for that.
